The Truth About Melissa Joan Hart And Danny Masterson's Relationship
After starring in Nickelodeon's "Clarissa Explains It All," per IMDb, Melissa Joan Hart quickly became a favorite among teen girls and garnered a reputation as the girl next door. But her stardom really began to grow when she landed the role of Sabrina in "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," which ran from 1996 until 2003. Since her "Sabrina" days, Hart has made appearances on reality shows like "Dancing With The Stars." In 2021, she also became the first contestant to win $1 million on "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune."
Because Hart's resume is quite innocent, she surprised fans with some juicy details about her life in her memoir, "Melissa Explains It All: Tales from My Abnormally Normal Life," which she released in 2013. As Entertainment Weekly reports, the book dishes on her favorite onscreen kiss (with Adrian Grenier in "Drive Me Crazy") and some of her celebrity make-outs. Some of the A-lister names that Hart drops include Ryan Reynolds, Nick Carter, Gabriel Carpenter, Josh Hopkins, and Jerry O'Connell — but her most controversial relationship by far is the one she mentions with actor Danny Masterson.

Though he was once known for his role on "That '70's Show," Danny Masterson is unfortunately better known for his sexual assault charges. According to US Weekly, five separate woman came forward in 2017 to accuse Masterson of sexual assault and misconduct. As of June 2020, the disgraced actor was charged with three counts of rape.
Though Melissa Joan Hart dated Masterson before any allegations of rape, and prior to her memoir being released in 2013, what she wrote about her short-lived relationship with the disgraced star proves that Masterson has always treated women poorly. According to the TikTok user @celebritymemoirbookclub, Hart recalled how Masterson would push her into garbage cans as a means of flirting. "Being with him was also the first time I had hooked up with an aggressive, handsy guy, so I dressed in layers to make it more difficult for him to get what he was after," Hart wrote, per TikTok. According to Us Weekly, Masterson is slated to begin trial in August 2022 and faces up to 45 years in prison.
