The Bold And The Beautiful's Darin Brooks Shared Some Exciting Family News

You may have not seen actor Darin Brooks on "The Bold and the Beautiful" much of late, but he has confirmed that he will be on-screen again soon as the show just shot an episode featuring the Spencer men, Brooks' Wyatt, as well as Scott Clifton's Liam, and Don Diamont's Bill, according to "Bold Live." While he's been away, Brooks has been busy both personally and professionally.

"B&B" was able to work with him and give him time off for outside projects, including the TV series "Amber Brown," which is in post production, as of this writing. On the personal level, Brooks was busy at home with wife, Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, "The Young and the Restless", recurs as Eva on "The Bold and the Beautiful"), and their 2-year-old daughter Everleigh Jolie.

Now, Brooks has even bigger family news to announce as his family just added a new member.

Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger welcome a second daughter

On January 29, 2022, soap stars Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger became parents once again when Kruger gave birth to a baby girl who joined her sister, Everleigh, as a member of their family. Baby Gemma Wynter weighed in at 9 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 21 inches long and the new parents couldn't be more thrilled.

"We are just overjoyed! We couldn't be happier! We always wanted a sibling for Everleigh because I have my older brother and Kelly has an older brother and two stepsisters," Brooks told People. "So we were so excited to be able to give Everleigh a sibling and when we found out it was a girl, it was perfect because Everleigh is just so awesome, caring, strong and such a personality."

Kruger was joyful saying, "I can't wait to see her little personality and who she becomes. Becoming a mother for the second time is definitely more emotional because we now know what to expect with everything. It's truly such a miracle and such an incredible journey," per People.

As for their new daughter's name, well, Brooks and Kruger let their older daughter choose it. "We decided to use both because when we asked our daughter, Everleigh, what name she liked for baby sister, Gemma or Wynter, she would always say 'Gemma Wynter,'" the pair told People. "So we said 'why not just do what Everleigh wanted to name her baby sister, Gemma and Wynter?'"
