Below Deck: Sailing Yacht: The Truth About Gary And Daisy's Relationship

The highly anticipated third season of "Below Deck: Sailing Yacht" returns to Bravo on Monday, February 21. Viewers will be delighted to see popular cast members Captain Glenn Shephard, first mate Gary King, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, and chief engineer Colin MacRae return in Season 3. According to Bravo, a few new faces will also be appearing in the third season, including chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, deckhand Tom Pearson, deckhand Kelsie Goglia, and third stew Ashley Marti.

Though drama is nearly always guaranteed in the "Below Deck" franchise, one recent preview clip had even the most seasoned viewers raising their eyebrows. In the clip, Kelliher is seen indulging in a hot tub makeout session with King (via Entertainment Tonight). The pair's formerly contentious relationship seems to have led to something more. "That kiss got way too much air time, I was not happy about that," Kelliher told Entertainment Tonight. "You know what, it's a complicated dynamic. You've experienced something together — and we're both very stubborn and passionate about what we do — and we're trying to figure out our friendship and trying to work with each other, and I think it's easy for those lines to get blurred," she explained. "So I think that's what happened, but I'm not really sure, to be honest."

Since finding romance in the hot tub, the pair have been spotted vacationing together, leading many to wonder if the "Below Deck: Sailing Yacht" cast members have forged a deeper connection since filming.

Kelliher and King claim that they are only friends

Earlier this month, Daisy Kelliher addressed the rumors that she was dating her costar, Gary King. "It's a complicated friendship," Kelliher told E! News. "I don't think we're more than just friends. We're very affectionate people and we're very affectionate towards each other and care a lot about each other and we've been through a lot over the last two years," she explained. "I just think that just got a bit blurred. Our relationship is very platonic. We care about each other and like I said we're both affectionate people, so affection can sometimes lead to kissing." Ultimately, she had just one thing to say: "But no, we're just friends."

However, while denying dating rumors, the pair enjoyed a trip to Disneyland in California, documenting their adventures frequently on their respective social media channels. Though they appeared to be poking fun of the dating rumors while vacationing together, per Us Weekly, a separate comment made by King to E! News might lead some to believe that hope does exist for their friendship to blossom into something more. "I think she kind of knew this, so when we were in the jacuzzi it was just us alone, there was definitely chemistry there," King told E! News. "I think we both felt it. And then one thing led to another and a few minutes later we were kissing, which for me was amazing, I don't know what Daisy says about." Finally, he said, "But it's a work in progress, this relationship, and we're just trying to build it step by step and see where it takes us."
