All The Head-Turning Looks From The 2022 SAG Awards

The Screen Actors Guild Awards are as well known for the acting accolades as for the unforgettable fashion. And maybe we're a little biased, but we totally watched this year's telecast for the latter. Luckily, A-listers from TV and film alike did not disappoint. Indeed, from "The White Lotus" actress Alexandra Daddario to the always-glam Lady Gaga, the stars were definitely out to wow us out of our pandemic doldrums. People, the red carpet is back! Amen!

Now, let's dissect all our favorite looks with help from Slots Up, an online gaming site, which shared some juicy details about the jewelry and the dresses that satiated our thirst for fashion after months of going without. Although so many stars made our jaws drop Sunday night, some simply topped our list of the best dressed, with style to spare that fans are talking about long after Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California was vacated and cleaned up.

Selena Gomez stunned

One of fans' favorite moments from the SAG Awards was when Selena Gomez fell on the red carpet. Stay with us. The star then promptly ditched her pricey Christian Louboutin heels right there, with cameras flashing away, winning praise online, with one fan tweeting, "She still looks as a queen." Gomez later presented an award for outstanding supporting actress while barefoot, presumably to avoid another tumble (via People).

The good news is that her stunning ensemble still worked sans shoes. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this year marked Gomez's first SAG Awards, with the "Only Murders in the Building" star opting to make a mega impression with a black velvet Oscar de la Renta gown featuring poofy shoulders and a sexy cutout at the midriff. Of course, tongues were also wagging over her Bulgari necklace, which boasted 37.04 carats of diamonds and emeralds according to THR.

Finally, a simple, sleek updo allowed her fashion and jewels to shine.

Alexandra Daddario amazed

Alexandra Daddario was both relatable and captivating as put-upon wife Rachel Patton in the HBO Max show "The White Lotus."

On the SAG red carpet Sunday night, it was hard to look away from her goddess-inspired gown, designed by Atelier Versace. The gold stunner featured a deep V-neckline and a front thigh slit, as well draped back detailing. The star's dark hair was worn in elegant ringlets and paired with a deep red lip and supersized De Beers drop earrings that were the envy of every viewer at home.

On Instagram, Daddario thanked her glam team, including her facialist and manicurist, proving it truly does take a village to turn out red carpet-worthy looks. Then how did the star make it look so effortless? We may never know her secret!

Lady Gaga grabbed our attention

Lady Gaga's meat dress days feel like they are a distant memory when we see her step out on the red carpet in looks like last night's elegant showing. The singer and actress donned a flattering strapless white column gown by Armani Privé that featured a jewel-encrusted bodice. She paired the Old Hollywood-inspired dress with a diamond Tiffany & Co necklace with a floral motif.

Simple hair and sultry eye makeup finished the look along with the star's signature look-at-me manicure.

On Twitter, fans were raving about the look, with one person calling Lady Gaga, "Best dressed at SAG Awards." Meanwhile, the star shared a selfie over on her Instagram, writing in part, "There are many reasons the world gives us all the time NOT to smile. I'm praying tonight for Ukraine and am sending smiles to all your hearts I pray will be whole soon."

Cynthia Erivo shined

All bow down to fashion goddess Cynthia Erivo, who chose Louis Vuitton for the SAG Awards (via Page Six Style). Her liquid-looking PVC red column dress stood out among a sea of white and black gowns and was complemented by a faux fur cape with jeweled detailing and sparkly earrings. The culmination of these impressive details made a huge splash on the carpet (via Daily Mail).

We also couldn't help but notice the actress' coordinating manicure featuring tiny jewels as well as her matching custom sandals, which were made of vinyl. Indeed, Erivo gets the award for "the most interesting and daring ensemble that still managed to look elegant and polished that we seriously want to copy." Too long?

Vanessa Hudgens is a verified star

Vanessa Hudgens grew up! The "High School Musical" star looked like she had graduated into the annals of fashion fame last night on the red carpet. Her mermaid-inspired Versace gown featured a body-hugging silhouette and beautiful jeweled detailing at the neckline.

The color of the satin gown also made an impression, but what everyone was talking about was Hudgens' sleek, blunt bob haircut — especially since the actress' locks are naturally curly (via Glamour UK). When hairstylist Danielle Priano shared a photo of the star pre-awards to her Instagram, the comments poured in praising the Old Hollywood look. "This glam is next level! So striking!" one person said. Hudgens was called "stunning," "flawless" and "UNDEFEATED."

We agree with all of that!
