RHOA's Kandi Burruss Teases 'Explosive Fight' With Marlo Hampton

Excitement and buzz surrounding the upcoming season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" has been somewhat bittersweet. While it's always exciting to eagerly await a whole new saga of clashes and drama, the show has lost a lot of its solid OG cast members. With both Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams leaving the show following Nene Leakes' departure the season before, not many memorable icons remain (via The Daily Mail). But one thing has definitely softened the blow of this loss, and that's Marlo Hampton finally claiming a peach as an official housewife, according to Reality Titbit

Hampton has been an on-and-off friend-of on the show, joining the ladies at most events and on most of their trips. She has always served up some serious shade and played a vital role on the show, so much so that fans have always been baffled as to why she wasn't an official member of the show yet. Well, the long wait is over. Bravo TV confirmed the lineup for Season 14 will consist of Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, Shereé Whitfield, and, now, Marlo Hampton. Between the always-dramatic Moore and Whitfield, fans are guaranteed some serious conflict and, of course, impeccable shade throwing skills as always. But it seems like an unlikely duo are set to have one of the most explosive fights of Season 14, and while rumors have been swirling, one of them is finally speaking up and confirming how it all went down.

Kandi and Marlo exchanged harsh words

Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton have arguably been around for the most seasons of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." The two have seen it all together, and while they aren't the closest of friends, they've managed to avoid getting into it again, ever since their very first clash on Hampton's first season where she accused Burruss of being a "sugar mama" (via Today). Well, while filming for Season 14 of "RHOA" continues, rumors have been swirling about the two of them having a huge blowout. And it looks like the rumors were spot on.

Ever since the fight occurred, Burruss has spoken with a few platforms, confirming the drama. Speaking with Page Six, she revealed, "It wasn't like it was intentional. It wasn't planned. One thing led to another and it was just explosive. It went out of control." She added,"I don't even know how they're going to edit it to be clean because it was terrible."

During an interview with The Daily Beast, Burruss spilled even more tea by sharing, "Marlo and I, we had some real serious beef that happened this year. It was crazy. I wasn't expecting it, because I was really one of the main people rooting for her to get her peach." But she confirmed that the two managed to eventually resolve things. "We were able to fix it. It's not like we're still in a bad place, but at that time, I wasn't sure if we were going to come back from it," Burruss concluded.
