Jana Duggar Is One Step Closer To Having Her Own HGTV Show
Jana Duggar, the eldest daughter of the family seen on the TLC reality shows "19 Kids and Counting" and "Counting On" has never seemed to enjoy the limelight. After news that "Counting On" was canceled due to the ongoing legal battles of her brother Josh Duggar, her parents shared this message that put her life into perspective.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar revealed on their blog, "Our family has grown (and grown up!) before our eyes and on national television, and the journey has been miraculous — following God is an exciting adventure!"
Fans of the Duggar family have always had sympathy for Jana who seems to be under her parents' control. Noting that she is the eldest daughter and hasn't courted or left her family's Arkansas compound, The Hollywood Gossip reports that fans shared, "I just don't think her parents will ever allow her to court anyone until the little ones are more independent. She is their primary caregiver. Michelle isn't going to let that go."
Regardless of what Jana chooses to do, fans just want her to be happy. There is one hobby in her life that brings her joy and she recently took to Instagram to show it off.

Jana Duggar has always been handy. Throughout the TLC series, fans watched as she took on several household projects. She showcased her talents so much that many were hoping she would land herself a show on HGTV (via The Sun UK).
The eldest Duggar daughter took to Instagram recently to share her latest home improvement project. She posted a photo of herself amongst a pile of wood with the caption, "Turning these wood scraps into something I can use for my next project! #savethedifference." The save the difference hashtag references the Duggar's "buy used and save the difference" slogan. Fans flooded the comments with their desire to see her get her own show.
This isn't the first time fans have talked about wanting to see Jana land her own home improvement show either (via Showbiz Cheat Sheet). Jana has been showcasing her projects on Instagram, often being met with comments reading, "HGTV show? This seems to be your passion! Great job." It's unclear if Jana would be open to having her own home renovation show, but her Instagram posts definitely showcase there's a fan interest.
