Britney Spears' Latest Instagram Post Reveals Unexpected Details About Her Personal Life
Since Britney Spears was freed from the conservatorship that ruled her professional, personal, and financial life since 2008, the 40-year-old pop star has been more open about her life. She has discussed what she had to endure while living under a legal agreement obtained by her father, Jamie Spears — who thinks he should be praised for protecting Britney — after she had a public breakdown in 2008.
In June 2021, the walls started to come down for Britney as she gave an emotional phone testimony to a California judge about what her life had been like for more than a decade. She discussed personal details, including how she was forced to use an IUD when she wanted to have more children (per BuzzFeed News). A judge ended the conservatorship in November 2021, and Britney has been speaking out more and more lately about how she was treated by her father, and others, for years. She also signed a $15 million book deal with Simon & Schuster to tell her story (via Page Six).
Mainly, though, Britney has been using social media to reveal secrets about her life, and her latest Instagram post is a continuation of that trend. In a burst of thoughts, Britney shared what she thinks about how women's bodies are treated, and how she felt her own womanhood was stripped away by her father.
Britney Spears talked about her days breastfeeding
Before Britney Spears' life was taken over by a conservatorship and she lost full custody of her two sons, Sean and Jayden, she was a hands-on mother (via Life & Style). When they were babies, she breastfed them both, which is something she talked about in her latest Instagram post. The post features a photo of her cleavage, followed by written graphics using her own words.
"Okay ... so I breastfed my 2 boys ... like a freaking milk factory! I had literally 6 full bottles pumped out and ready to go at all times beside me as I was breastfeeding because I never wanted my babies to go hungry!!!" Spears wrote."I had my breast milk in literally 12 bottles at one point!!!" She then went on to tell a story about how her body remembered the feeling of holding babies after she met a woman with an infant while she was on vacation in Maui. Spears also provided details about a personal moment she experienced when her children were young. She described when her breasts started leaking when she was on tour, several years after she had finished nursing her children.
The post then discussed details about a day with her father that Spears said changed her life.

Britney Spears recently took to Instagram to talk about breastfeeding and being a woman. She then described the moment she learned her life would no longer be her own after her father, Jamie Spears, obtained her conservatorship in 2008.
"I mean the first day my dad became my conservator I will never forget!!!," Britney wrote (via Instagram). "He said sit down in that chair ... we're going to have a talk ... He said 'I'm Britney Spears and I call the shots from now on' and ever since that day I felt a huge part of my womanhood stripped from me." Britney went on to say that she wasn't the same after that conversation, but that she was proud of herself for getting through it after 13 years of conservatorship.
Aside from signing her book deal with Simon & Schuster that portends to reveal information the public still doesn't know, Britney also plans to change her life by purchasing a new home (via the New York Post). On the personal front, Britney became engaged to longtime boyfriend Sam Ashgari in September, but no wedding date has been set as of this writing (per Us Weekly).
