Days Of Our Lives Fans Cannot Get Enough Of An Important Mother-Son Pairing

"Days of Our Lives" fans who haven't been watching the NBC soap opera for decades may find it hard to keep the family ties straight in Salem. For instance, Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) has been married multiple times and has several children and grandchildren. Easy right? Well, it's a little more complicated than it seems.

Marlena has three biological children (via Soap Central). She shares twins Sami and Eric Brady with her ex-husband, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). Then she has another daughter, Belle Black (Martha Madison), with the love of her life, John Black (Drake Hogestyn). In addition, she's also taken on the role of mother to John's oldest child, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

Brady's mother was John's former wife Isabella Toscano (Staci Greason), per Soap Hub. John and Isabella were one of the sweetest couples on "DOOL," but the pair had a tragic ending when Isabella was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and her health declined quickly. Isabella died when Brady was very young, and he never got the chance to know his mother (via Soaps in Depth).

Thankfully, he's had Marlena all these years, and fans can't seem to get enough of the mother-stepson duo.

Some Days of Our Lives fans demand more scenes between Marlena and Brady

Recently, one "Days of Our Lives" fan took to Twitter to share some emotional and heartwarming clips of Marlena Evans and Brady Black professing their love for one another. The first clip was from 1997 when a young Brady told Marlena that he loved her (via Soaps). The second came from an episode in 2020 where a grown Brady jumped in front of a bullet to save her life. In the scene, Brady tells his step-mother that he appreciates how she never treated him like anything other than a son, and that he considers her his mother.

Actress Deidre Hall retweeted the post. "Never knew I'd love him more 25 years later," she said. Meanwhile, actor Eric Martsolf also had something to say about the clips. He added a blue heart emoji and the hashtag #tvmom to his tweet. After the interaction, Soaps noted that fans wanted to see more of the pair together on screen. One fan even implied that the "writers like to forget about" Marlena and Brady's "incredible bond" (via Twitter). Viewers seemingly just can't enough of their adorable relationship and the way that their love for each other has evolved over the years.

Perhaps "DOOL" writers will listen and write in some more interaction between Marlena and Brady to keep the their fans happy.
