Kate Middleton Looks Pretty In Pink During Royal Tour Appearance

In honor of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee, Prince William and Kate Middleton are in the Caribbean. According to USA Today, this visit — the couple's first official overseas tour since the pandemic started — will last a week and include stops in Belize, Jamaica, and the Bahamas.

On March 21, 2022, they wrapped up their time in Belize with an event hosted by the country's governor-general. Prime Minister Johnny Briceño was also in attendance, as were other leaders and government officials.

"Yesterday, we also had a taste of Belize's wonderful cultural diversity — from Mayan chocolate to Garifuna drumming," the Duke of Cambridge said in a speech, as reported by People. "Belize may be small, but your rich blend of ethnic groups contributes to the harmonious tapestry of life."

The function that night was also the first time on this royal tour that the Duchess of Cambridge opted for a glam look.

Kate Middleton wore a hot pink dress for her royal tour appearance

Earlier on March 21, 2022, as the Evening Standard reported, Kate Middleton and Prince William spent time at Caracol, a 3,000-year-old archaeological site, during their royal tour. While there, the duchess was seen in a white T-shirt and khaki pants, which fit well with this adventurous locale.

However, that night, she stunned in a hot pink gown — not one of her go-to colors — with a metallic finish. The maxi dress did feature ruffled sleeves, though, which are very on-brand for her. Furthermore, the dress was from The Vampire's Wife, a brand she has worn before. To finish off this festive look, Kate wore her hair down and straight, and she added a pair of statement earrings and a clutch, per People.

According to Reuters, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are headed next to Jamaica and the Bahamas, where they will continue to celebrate the queen's 70th year on the throne.
