While Jason Tartick was discussing his new book, "The Restart Roadmap: Rewire and Reset Your Career," out April 5, 2022, during an exclusive interview with The List, he mentioned some personal anecdotes about Bachelor Nation.

For those who don't know, Tartick appeared on Season 14 of "The Bachelorette" and later on Season 23 of "The Bachelor" as well (via JasonTartick.com). It was through his time on these shows that he was able to restart his own career in a way that felt more meaningful and fulfilling.

Tartick also happened to meet Kaitlyn Bristowe through his Bachelor Nation connections, and the pair got engaged in 2021 (via Us Weekly). Speaking with The List, Tartick talked about wedding planning with Bristowe and how he was grateful that their respective times on "The Bachelorette" ultimately brought them together.

When asked what it means to be part of the Bachelor Nation community, Tartick called it a "loaded question." Considering the fact that much of his success has stemmed from his time in the franchise — while sharing his personal life with millions of viewers around the world — his reaction is understandable.

After a moment, however, he went on to outline the many important ways that Bachelor Nation has benefitted him.

Jason Tartick is grateful for the Bachelor Nation community

While speaking with The List, reality star Jason Tartick reflected on what it means to be part of the Bachelor Nation community. His response was equal parts kind and thoughtful as he acknowledged how much he has gained through his time on "The Bachelorette" and "The Bachelor."

"I think it's a really unique group to be a part of," said the 33-year-old. "And I think one of the reasons people will ask often is, 'Why is it that you go on the show and you naturally have all these friendships?' Or, 'Why is it that you go on this show and then people are dating right after?'"

As Tartick explained, these things happen because being on "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" is a transformative experience for everyone involved. He said that, on a personal level, his time on the shows changed his life forever, especially considering his upcoming nuptials with Kaitlyn Bristowe.

Tartick called being part of Bachelor Nation "such an honor" and noted that most members of that unique community have an "underlying respect and understanding for one another." He went on to say that, even when things get heated between Bachelor Nation members, everyone typically speaks to each other one-on-one to resolve issues and support one another.

"My life would never be where it is without it, so I am appreciative of it and will always, for some part of me, feel a little bit indebted," he concluded.
