Brooklyn Beckham's Name Change Intentions After His Wedding Has Fans Talking

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are officially man and wife. The happy couple tied the knot in an opulent ceremony at her family's stunning Palm Beach compound over the weekend, per The Irish Sun. The event, which reportedly set the family back millions, was attended by the A-list likes of model Gigi Hadid, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, and actor Eva Longoria. Likewise, the Beckham clan was there in force alongside Peltz's billionaire family, who made their money in finance. However, Victoria and David Beckham received a blow from a royal couple whom they were hoping would also be in attendance.

No matter, since the day appears to have otherwise gone off without a hitch. Sky News reports the festivities kicked off around 6 p.m., with Peltz donning a stunning, long-sleeved, custom-made Valentino gown for the occasion. The bridal party comprised six groomsmen and six bridesmaids, including all three of Beckham's siblings. Three temporary white structures were custom-built on the property to accommodate the 300 guests in attendance, while the after-party took place in a massive banqueting tent.

Beckham and Peltz originally met back in 2017, at the Coachella music festival, and got engaged in 2020. They made their marriage official on Instagram, in matching posts, but fans are more interested in the moniker Beckham has adopted since getting hitched.

Brooklyn Beckham plans to take his new wife's surname

On social media, newlyweds Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz confirmed their happy news with identical posts featuring a stunning black-and-white shot of them from the big day, captured by Vogue. The caption for each post was the same: "Mr. & Mrs. Peltz Beckham." This has, understandably, led fans to assume the aspiring chef is taking his wife's name. Sources told The Sun Beckham intends to take Peltz alongside his current middle name, Joseph, as a further show of his lifelong commitment to their relationship.

Beckham previously got her eyes tattooed on the back of his neck, alongside a love note Peltz had written him, and even her late grandmother's name, as further displays of his commitment. Peltz, meanwhile, returned the favor by inking her hubby's name on her back. They also wear each other's gold-dipped wisdom teeth as necklaces, per Page Six. Funnily enough, his mom Victoria Beckham has similarly creepy mementos of her kids

According to People, at a pre-wedding cocktail party on Friday, April 8, the happy couple only had eyes for each other. "Brooklyn and Nicola looked very happy and were walking around holding hands the whole night and sneaking kisses," a source revealed. Evidently, taking each other's names is just the latest step to proving their undying love for each other.
