Khloe Kardashian And Tristan Thompson Reunite For A Celebratory Occasion

Despite all the drama between Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian, it seems for the most part, the ex couple is on pretty good terms. Consider that during a recent interview, the reality star said she still thinks the pro basketball player is a good guy, despite his having cheated on her multiple times (via Good Morning America). Still, it's not as if the Good American mogul hasn't stood up for herself, reportedly calling out "Liar!" during a scene featuring the former lovers at the premiere of "The Kardashians" (via Daily Mail).

Obviously theirs is a complicated relationship, but Kardashian and Thompson share a very important reason to work on things — their daughter, True. And the famous tot just enjoyed a sweet milestone in her life that brought her parents together.

As People reports, Kardashian threw a party in honor of True's fourth birthday and her NBA star dad was on hand to help celebrate. "Tristan shows up for every birthday and important event for True," a source told the outlet, adding, "He is a great dad. He is very involved."

True Thompson's birthday party was an over-the-top affair

It may be the case that Tristan Thompson "is very involved" in his daughter True's life— he often shares photos and videos of his time with the tot on Instagram — but what is it like between the Chicago Bulls player and his famous ex?

"Khloé gets along with him," the insider told People, going on to assert, "The focus is on True and they have the same goals for her. They want her to have the happiest childhood possible."

Meanwhile, Khloé Kardashian shared jaw-dropping scenes from the expensive-looking soiree for True, which featured a kitty theme, to her Instagram Story. Among the over-the-top touches were several giant balloon displays, a mouth-watering candy and dessert bar and kitty stuffed animals for True's guests to take home.

While we don't know how much was spent on this occasion, SheKnows previously reported that other Kardashian-Jenner kids' parties could cost as much as six figures. Since "The Kardashians" star is worth $50 million and Thompson may be worth as much as $45 million, we'd say they can probably afford it!
