Khloé Kardashian's Birthday Tribute For Kourtney Is Trending For All The Wrong Reasons
It would be hard to miss that Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her birthday this week unless you completely avoided social media. From her mom, Kris Jenner, to her sister Kim, the famous family was full of shoutouts for the newly-engaged star. Of course, Khloé also got in on the well wishing for her sister's birthday, sharing a lengthy message for the mom of three on her Instagram.
"Happy birthday to one of the loves of my life!" the Good American mogul began her sweet tribute to her sister. "I've never seen you so happy," she added, alluding to Kourtney's relationship with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker. Khloé went on to write to her older sibling, "You are my best friend, my soulmate, my everything. Words don't do our bond justice." The star also shared with fans some advice that Kourtney imparted, writing, "You have taught me that Life only gets better if you allow it to."
While many of the comments to the meaningful sentiment shared in the post reacted to this special display of sisterly love, there is another reason that the birthday post is getting a lot of attention and it has to do with the carousel of photos — taken a year before their show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," made them famous — that the mom of one shared along with her touching words.

In addition to the very sweet sentiment that Khloé Kardashian shared in her birthday tribute to her older sister Kourtney, the reality star also posted a carousel of images of the siblings with their other sister, Kim. The photos show the girls goofing around on a 2005 trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. And boy, do Khloé and Kim look different!
"Can't even recognize any of u anymore from how y'all originally looked," one person commented to the post, while someone else agreed, "Y'all look totally different now... Except @kourtneykardash." It seems most of the post's observers had the same thought, with someone else commenting, "Kourtney is the only one that looks the same. Good for you Kourtney for not allowing the pressure of society to make you rearrange your face."
Indeed, Khloé has copped to getting a nose job, although she denies having undergone any other plastic surgery treatments other than injections, but "not Botox," as the star told People in 2021, adding she didn't respond well to this specific injectable. As for Kim, she also admits to getting fillers and Botox, according to Cheat Sheet. However, the famous mom of four denies having undergone any other procedures, despite rampant speculation to the contrary.
It's worth noting Kourtney is the only sister who seems to feel comfortable showing off her imperfections, famously sharing a shot of her rear end with cellulite in full view (via Poosh).
