Sheila Carrasco Reveals The Moment She Never Saw Coming This Season On Ghosts - Exclusive

When "Ghosts" star Sheila Carrasco signed on to play Flower, she had no idea what was in store for the free spirit. In fact, the writers made it their mission to keep the plot top secret from every single actor on set. "They're pretty good about not giving us any details. They're really good," Carrasco explained during an exclusive interview with The List. "We would be well into shooting the season, and they would be having a draft for the next episode, and we would know nothing until the table read."

Over the course of the season, the show's writers sprinkled in some surprising details about the hippie she plays, giving a depth to the ghost that viewers never expected. "The fact that she's so flawed, and she robbed a bank, and she was dishonest, that was such a gift to me," Carrasco told us. Yet, out of all the ghosts' backstories we've seen, there was one that surprised her the most this season.

The actress was pleasantly surprised when she found out why Trevor isn't wearing any pants

Pete's backstory left us in tears. Thorfinn's viking funeral had us all feeling moved. However, it was the story of Trevor's death that left actress Sheila Carrasco in shock. "I really thought it was going to be related to some kind of drug-fueled rager [where] he lost his pants and that was it, and then he put his shoes back on," she admitted to The List.

Instead, Trevor's spirit wanders Woodstone Mansion without pants all because he sacrificed his slacks for a colleague on Wall Street who was being hazed. "It was such a fun, lovely surprise that he had that moment of generosity," Carrasco said.

While Trevor's character may act like a womanizer at times (okay, maybe at all times), the actor who plays him happens to be the exact opposite. "It was really lovely to see Asher [Grodman] play that," Carrasco gushed, "because he is such a sweet, kind person." Here's to hoping we see a lot more of Trevor's softer side in Season 2!

Season 1 of "Ghosts" is available to stream now on Paramount+.
