Erika Jayne Slams Lisa Vanderpump's Personal Hygiene

While fans eagerly await the release of the next installment of their favorite "Real Housewives" series, the ladies have a way of keeping them entertained.

Sure, the show is where all the fights go down, but the housewives' aptitude for drama definitely doesn't fade when the cameras switch off. Some of the biggest "Real Housewives" scandals have taken place before the show even begins filming.

Social media is a real housewife's playground. After all, would Jen Shah and Meredith Marks of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" even be feuding if Jen wasn't caught liking disparaging tweets about Brooks Marks (per Daily Mail)?

Real housewives have even gotten fired as a result of their social media. "RHOSLC" newbie Jennie Nguyen was fired when racist social media posts of hers resurfaced, per Vox, and she barely made it to the end of her debut season.

Of course, some real housewives are known to be a little messier than others when it comes to social media. Bravo's Andy Cohen dubbed Candiace Dillard Bassett a "disaster on Twitter," per Bravo TV, but Erika Jayne might just give her a run for her money.

Lisa Vanderpump's joke triggered Erika Jayne

While she may have left "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast, that hasn't stopped Lisa Vanderpump from throwing shade from the sidelines.

In particular, the restaurateur has had a lot to say about Erika Jayne. As Erika's legal battles have affected her friendships, Lisa threw fuel on the fire by accusing Kyle Richards of spreading rumors about Erika and her ex-husband, Tom Girardi, per the Daily Mail

So, when Erika got into it with another housewife, Lisa was the first to offer her two cents. Erika recently came for her co-star Garcelle Beauvais on Instagram. The "Pretty Mess" singer didn't take too kindly to Garcelle making playful references to their fight in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" promo trailer.

She filmed an Instagram video of Garcelle's memoir sitting in Erika's trash can, per Us Weekly. Fans were floored at the blatant insult, and it was inevitable that fellow real housewives would chime in eventually — and even more inevitable that Lisa would lead the charge.

Speaking to E! News, Lisa commented on the trash can incident, claiming she found it "very mean" before suggesting, "Maybe Erika didn't understand it, maybe Garcelle should have sent her a scratch and sniff book or something."

Lisa even joked: "I actually sent somebody to get it out of the trash. I read it and it was really damn good." Well, Erika didn't find her take all that funny.

Erika Jayne diagnoses Lisa Vanderpump with halitosis

Considering that her entire alter ego lives on social media, Erika Jayne's Instagram and Twitter tend to stir up quite a bit of drama. When it came to her and ex-husband Tom Girardi's legal problems, her social media was called into question as she continued to post questionable topless photos and flippant remarks, according to the Daily Mail

Other times, Erika uses her social media to shade her castmates either subtly or blatantly, per Heavy. But there was definitely no room for misinterpretation when it came to her attack on Lisa Vanderpump.

When fan account @Bravohousewives shared a screenshot of Lisa's comments about the book incident on Instagram, Erika was quick to hop into the comments section and clap back instantly. Another account, @Queensofbravo, shared a screenshot of Erika commenting, "That's rich coming from someone whose breath reeks of garlic, cigarettes, and chardonnay. #halitosis." Yikes.

Fellow housewife Sutton Stracke, who's had her own issues with Erika, also jokingly commented about escaping her wrath, "I'm just glad I'm not in this pic."

It's only a matter of time before Lisa claps back with an even harsher dig since she's certainly not one to hold back.
