Christina On The Coast Season 4: Details We Know So Far

Plenty of divorced couples wouldn't choose to keep spending time together, let alone work in the same place, but Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa broke the mold by continuing their hit reality show, "Flip or Flop," as normal.

However, in March 2022, they confirmed that it was all over after a successful 10 seasons on the air. Haack acknowledged on Instagram that the show ending was "bittersweet," while her former husband and baby daddy noted they'd had an "incredible" run.

The couple split in 2016 and share two kids. In an interview with People, an insider claimed "Flip or Flop" was ultimately ending because, although the exes generally get along pretty well, "the show was just too intimate of a setting at this point and it was time to close that chapter."

Both parties are settled down with other people now and focused on their careers which, for Haack, is "Christina on the Coast." Her hit spinoff show launched in 2019 and has gone from strength to strength.

Thankfully, fans won't have to wait too long for more of Haack since new episodes are coming shortly.

When is Season 4 of Christina on the Coast expected to drop?

In March 2022, Christina Haack took to Instagram to share, "Well, the day has come 😍. I can finally share that 'Christina on the Coast' has been picked up for more episodes coming your way in 2022!" The reality star shared, "I'm super excited to get back to work and show you all the amazing renovations we have lined up!"

Season 1 of the home renovation spinoff dropped in May 2019, with Season 2 following in January 2020, and Season 3 premiering in June 2021. It's therefore anyone's guess when Season 4 could materialize, but at least we know it'll be with us before the year is out.

Just a few days after confirming the show's renewal, Haack took to Instagram again to share that filming had begun on Season 4. Moreover, she and husband Joshua Hall are producing "Christina on the Coast" through their Unbroken Productions banner.

The working mother gushed, "Having my own production company to produce what I want has always been a huge dream! I love that I have the most hard working / creative partner in Josh and we have this amazing team to create content with. I am so grateful for this new opportunity."

She even teased that the duo is collaborating on other shows, too.

What could Christina on the Coast Season 4 be about?

Earlier in 2022, Christina Haack admitted she wanted some time to slow down to be with her children more often. Luckily for us, Haack is moving forward with "Christina on the Coast" regardless.

The fourth season, per a press release from HGTV, "will continue her personal and professional journey in Southern California." Likewise, upcoming episodes of the hit spinoff, which are due to drop in late 2022, "will focus on the busy mom of three as she faces relatable, everyday challenges, while also managing a booming design business and maintaining a healthy lifestyle."

As Showbiz CheatSheet notes, Haack spent much of Season 3 dealing with the fallout of her shock divorce from Ant Anstead, as the former couple struggled with co-parenting their son, Hudson. The interior designer even ultimately opted to sell the family home they'd bought together in Newport Beach, which was also where she and Anstead held their low-key wedding, with a view to making "a fresh start" elsewhere.

Now that she's found love again, with co-producer Joshua Hall, fans can expect to get insight into their blossoming relationship on the upcoming season of "Christina on the Coast," too.

Judging by behind-the-scenes footage Haack shared on Instagram in April, she's having a lot more fun this time around.

Christina Haack is headed to the country for another spinoff, too

Aside from bringing "Christina on the Coast" back for another season, host and star Christina Haack is also headed down south for a new spinoff, "Christina in the Country."

Variety reports that the show follows Haack in Tennessee, where she's setting up a second home on a rustic farm alongside husband Joshua Hall and her three kids. Much like the original hit spinoff show, "Christina in the Country" is due to air sometime in late 2022.

"Christina has captivated millions of passionate fans with her West Coast life in three seasons of 'Christina on the Coast,'" enthused Katie Ruttan-Daigle, vice president of programming for HGTV. "Now she's ready to share new family adventures and stunning design and renovation projects set in the beautiful Tennessee countryside."

Haack, meanwhile, is "excited and grateful" to be embarking on the new project. "I love that I get the best of both worlds — the coast and the country," she said.

According to Deadline, "Christina on the Coast" is a major ratings draw, with 23 million viewers last season alone, while it frequently ranks as a top five non-news/sports cable program among key demographics.

In an interview with ET, Haack looked to the future, sharing, "My goal is just to move on and not take things so seriously. And do some fun trips with the kids, go to Tennessee more, take time for quiet time, and just really focus on the family."
