A Viral Photo Of Barron Trump Has Everyone Saying The Same Thing

Former president Donald Trump's children were constantly in the headlines during his time in office. Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Trump Jr. played major roles in their father's administration and campaign, although none of them had any political background and giving such high-profile jobs to his children led to nepotism claims (via USA Today). Though they were constantly under scrutiny from both the press and the public, the Trump kids never lost their titles or campaign influence — and although their father is now out of office — the Trump kids continue to stay active both in the headlines and on social media.

Namely, Ivanka has been in the ether as of late given her testimony to the January 6 committee. As noted by The New York Times, the former White House adviser appeared in front of the bipartisan panel, confessing that she tried to get her father to call off the violent protestors on that fateful day.

Given the prevalence of his eldest children, you'd think that all of Donald's kids would prompt the same amount of public attention. There was one child, however, that was too young to serve in the administration and kept a relatively low profile: Barron Trump, who the president refers to as "Little Donald." He was only 12 years old when his father became president (per Town & Country). Now, the youngest of the Trump brood is a teenager, and a recent photo of him has Twitter talking.

Twitter couldn't help weighing in on a new photo of Barron

Barron Trump, the youngest child of former president Donald Trump, has been able to stay out of the public eye more than his older siblings have. Namely, both Donald and Melania Trump did their best to keep him out of the spotlight as much as possible, but that task was rather difficult with such a high-profile job (per Hello! Magazine). The only child shared between Donald and Melania and far younger than the rest of the Trump brood, there was a level of privacy reserved for the teen during those years in the White House.

However, a new photo has surfaced of Barron that has left everyone on Twitter saying the same thing. The photo was posted on the platform by B.W. Carlin, who penned, "Barron Trump looks like two kids in a trench coat" as the teenager posed with a woman and looked double her height. One user chimed in, "Barron looks like what you'd get if you put Donald Trump on a rack and stretched him..." while another stated, "This photo looks fake. He didn't have those hips the last time I saw him."

Barron does look really tall in this photo, but that isn't all that surprising as he is 6'7” (per the New York Post).

Barron Trump has been kept out of the spotlight

As the first young boy to live in the White House since John F. Kennedy Jr. (per Today), the press was understandably interested in what life was like for Barron Trump when his father, Donald, was president. Yet with the exception of select events during Donald's presidency, Barron has mainly been kept away from the prying eyes of the public. In fact, Melania Trump made it clear that she didn't want the media to mention her son when covering the Trump administration and family. "It does make me angry, because children should be off limits," she said on "Hannity" in 2018. "I protect him, and I want to give him normal life as possible. This is not normal life, but I like to protect him and give him the childhood that he deserves."

In 2016, Melania threatened to sue a YouTube user for posting a video that questioned whether Barron could be on the autism spectrum. His parents denied he was autistic and the video was subsequently taken down, per US Weekly.

Despite living in the spotlight, Melania said that Barron enjoyed his time at the White House. "He's strong, he's tough, he's enjoying life in Washington," she said on "Hannity."

Melania calls her son 'Little Donald'

Melania Trump is especially close with her only child and has made him her number one priority, even opting not to hire a nanny to help her out when her son was younger. But Melania also encourages Barron to spend plenty of quality time with his father, Donald Trump, so she takes a back seat when father and son want to have some one-on-one time together. Donald and Barron enjoy playing golf together and also have dinner just the two of them. "They have beautiful respect and admiration for each other," she told People in 2015.

In fact, the former model reportedly gave her son an interesting nickname: Little Donald. She told Parenting (via Redbook) that when Barron was a little boy, he wanted to be a businessman and golfer — just like his father. "He is a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy," she explained. "He is independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants. Sometimes I call him little Donald. He is a mixture of us in looks, but his personality is why I call him little Donald."

It remains to be seen if Barron follows in his father's footsteps. For now, he seems content being a student at the Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida, where he is a member of the class of 2024, according to People.
