1000-Lb. Sisters' Amy Slaton Has Exciting Family News To Share

Fans of all things reality TV will recognize Amy Slaton as one of the stars of TLC's "1000-Lb. Sisters." The series followers Youtube stars Amy and her sister, Tammy Slaton, as they share the dramatic ups and downs of their personal lives on camera while attempting to overcome obesity.

As fans of the show will recall, Amy revealed her future family plans back in Season 2 while pregnant with her first child. Viewers watched the reality star's journey to motherhood after learning she was pregnant. However, the road to giving birth wasn't an easy one. Following an emergency C-section and after discovering her new son had low blood sugar, Amy eventually gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, named Gage Deon Halterman (via Instagram). As People reported, Amy welcomed her first child with husband Michael Halterman back in November 2020. 

Now, almost two years later, "1000-Lb. Sisters" star Amy has some more exciting family news to share. 

Amy Slaton says her family is complete

As Metro reported, Amy Slaton announced in January 2022 that she had her husband, Michael Halterman, were expecting their second together. "Gage is going to be a big brother in july 2022. Im due july 18th!!!! We are over the moon!!!!," Slaton wrote on Instagram at the time. 

On July 8, 2022, People exclusively revealed that Slaton had given birth to her second child. The newborn was born via C-section on July 5. "The wait is finally over ... Michael and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman," she told People, adding, "The delivery was a huge success and now I have both of my miracle boys; our family is complete!"

Speaking on Instagram shortly after giving birth, Slaton wrote in a caption, "Welcome Glenn Allen Halterman," along with an adorable picture of herself, her husband Halterman, and their newborn child. 

Fans of "1000-Lb. Sisters" can expect to follow Slaton's second pregnancy and her journey to giving birth in the upcoming fourth season of the hit TLC reality series.
