Pippa Middleton Has Exciting Family News To Share

It has been a rocky year for the United Kingdom's royal family. In March, Prince Andrew settled out of court with his victim for the alleged crimes he participated in with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell (via the BBC). This was a bad look for the royal family, of course.

As Queen Elizabeth II struggled with her health, things continued to go downhill for the royals. Throughout the year, the matriarch has been sidelined from some of her favorite events due to struggles with her mobility. She was absent from some of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations and her royal duties have been changed as she continues to work through her health struggles (per Entertainment Tonight).

While it seems this year has been especially rough for the royal family, there have been positives along the way. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reunited with the family for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the first time everyone had been together since the couple chose to leave the United Kingdom in 2020 (via People).

Now, there is even more good news coming from the royal's extended family. Duchess Catherine Middleton's sister recently announced something exciting!

Pippa and her husband announced the birth of their third child

Duchess of Cambridge Catherine Middleton, the wife of Prince William, has been a well-loved member of the royal family since the couple tied the knot in 2011 (via Good To Know). Though Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, does not have a royal title herself, she has been a close extended member of the family following her sister's wedding, where she served as maid of honor (per Express UK).

Pippa recently announced some exciting family news following what has been a rocky year for her sister's family by marriage. According to People, Pippa and her husband, James Matthews, just welcomed their third child, a baby girl. The little girl was born in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital, where the duke and duchess welcomed all three of their children.

The new baby, whose name has yet to be announced, will be the youngest sibling to 3-year-old Arthur and 1-year-old Grace. She will also have some fun cousins in Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Pippa's new baby has a cute connection to one of her cousins

It's clear that Pippa Middleton has a special connection to her niece and nephews. She has an especially great bond with Prince George, the eldest of Catherine Middleton's brood. In an interview with Today that she did back in 2014, Pippa gushed about her nephew.

"He's amazing. He's a very dear boy," Pippa shared. "And he's brought a lot of pleasure and fun for all of us, the whole family."

In that same interview, Pippa shared that she would love to have children of her own. Now, a mother of three, her latest bundle of joy will share a special connection to George as well.

For all of you astrology fans out there, you'll be excited to learn that George and Pippa's latest daughter share the same sign, Cancer (via Hello! Magazine). Cancers are known to be loyal, imaginative, and emotional, amongst other traits. It will be fun to see if these two Cancers share a special bond as they get older.

Pippa lives a private life but has opened up about balancing parenting

Pippa Middleton lives a more private life than her sister, Catherine Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. Pippa is often tight-lipped about her personal life, with fans unaware that she was expecting a third child until she was seen at Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations (via PureWow). Just over a month later, Pippa had given birth to the baby.

Though her life isn't under the same microscope her sister's is, Pippa works hard. According to Hello! Magazine, she has a Master's degree in physical education, sport and physical literacy from University of Wales Trinity Saint David. While she is closed off regarding many aspects of her personal life, she has opened up about how juggling work and motherhood has played out for her.

Pippa opened up about her work and parenting journey in a statement put out by the university. She shared about her work and her love of children, as well as how she has found balance along the way — she was able to get her degree while raising her two children.

"I have enjoyed the balance of work and motherhood and getting back into reading, writing, and learning again," gushed Pippa. She shared that she chose to study what she did because she is passionate about the benefits of working out and wanted to study the effects on mothers and children.

Now, Pippa has three kids to look after and an impressive degree she is putting to work. While she keeps her life private, it sure is impressive.
