Why Douglas Will Soon Be Getting A New Face On The Bold And The Beautiful

Douglas Forrester has gone through a lot of trauma during his very short life on "The Bold and the Beautiful." It all began when his mother, Caroline Spencer (ex-Lindsay Godfrey), suddenly passed away, leaving him with just his father, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and a whole lot of mama drama, according to Soaps in Depth. That's because Thomas was hell-bent on making Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) Douglas' new stepmother. Even though Hope and Douglas managed to create a very strong bond between them, the same can't be said between Hope and Thomas, as his disturbing antics have pushed her over the edge one too many times.

At one point, Thomas even fell in love with a doll that looked exactly like Hope, as detailed by Soaps.com. If that weren't enough, it was Douglas who also told Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that their baby, Beth, was indeed alive, when they thought she had died during childbirth. When asked about some of the more mature storylines that he takes on, actor Henry Samiri told Soap Opera Digest that he and his co-star, Thomas Atkinson, like to talk about "normal things like video games and animals" before shooting scenes.

And now it looks like "The Bold and the Beautiful" fans will be seeing more of Douglas in the coming weeks, but with a new face instead.

Douglas Forrester is back on 'The Bold and the Beautiful'

According to Soap Opera Digest, Douglas Forrester will soon be back in this fictional town of Los Angeles that the Forrester, Logan, and Spencer families reside in, but with a new face. That's because the character has been recast with a new actor: Django Ferri. It's been noted by Soaps in Depth that the young actor doesn't have an official IMDb page yet, which probably means that his role on "The Bold and the Beautiful" is his first acting credit. There's no doubt that he's pretty excited about that.

While some "The Bold and the Beautiful" episodes feel like déjà vu, it'll be interesting to see what new storyline Douglas will be thrown into. The last time he was on the canvas he caught Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) kissing Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), per Soaps.com, which almost set off another war between the Logans and the Forresters.

There's no doubt that Django has some pretty big shoes to fill as Douglas has been more than just the keeper of secrets on "The Bold and the Beautiful," right?
