Michael Jackson's Three Children Are All Grown Up

It has been more than a decade since the tragic passing of music icon Michael Jackson. Left behind to carry on his legacy are his three children: Prince, Paris, and Bigi (formerly known as Blanket).

Now, seemingly within the blink of an eye, Michael Jackson's three children are all grown up — and many fans of the late pop star are likely curious to know what they've been up to in recent years. As some may have guessed, they've inherited many of their father's talents as well as his philanthropic nature, with the Jackson heirs being huge advocates for change in various social and environmental causes.

It's safe to say that Prince, Paris, and Bigi have taken steps toward earning their own individual successes, making a positive impact on the world, and giving back to others. And although the siblings are unique in their own ways, they still maintain a close relationship with each other that would certainly make their father proud.

Prince loves motorcycles

One thing Prince is passionate about is motorcycles, which is quite evident once you skim through his Instagram page. In 2018, Prince created a YouTube channel dedicated entirely to his motorcycle adventures where viewers could join him on his travels. In one video, he shared a beautiful ride he took across the California scenery from Solvang to LA. He even rode his motorcycle to his college graduation ceremony.

In an interview with Us Magazine, Prince shared what sparked his passion for motorcycles. "I always thought it was dope since day 1, I've always wanted a motorcycle. I think the thrill of it is also what attracted me to it a little bit to it [sic]."

Although Prince usually rides solo, he sometimes lets a few special people accompany him on his rides, including his girlfriend Molly and his sister Paris, per his Instagram. In one Instagram post, Prince shared a photo of him and Paris on his motorcycle with the caption, "Get you a ride or die to ride into the sunset @parisjackson #harleydavidson #harleylowrider."

Prince earned his bachelor's degree

In 2019, Prince graduated cum laude from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in business administration (per his Instagram). He credits his family for giving him the motivation to complete college, even when he was close to deciding to stop his studies. In his post, he wrote, "...The biggest thanks goes to @tjjackson9 and his brothers @tarylljackson and @tajjackson who kept pushing me to graduate and finish up my degree when I wanted to quit." Prince also shared that he was quite proud of his accomplishment, regarding it as "a testament to [his] dedication and discipline."

Prince also made sure to include his late father in his graduation by adding one of his father's quotes on his sash, according to People. It reads, "In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe."

Prince organizes an annual fundraiser in honor of his father

Every year, Prince and the Jackson family throw an annual charity event on Halloween called "Thriller Nights," which is themed after Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video. All proceeds go toward the family's non-profit charities, which include the Heal Los Angeles Foundation and the Dee Dee Jackson Foundation (per Fox News). Prince is especially dedicated to the former. "This foundation is very important because it comes from an inspiration for my cousins that want to help kids that have gone through some serious or significant loss in their life," he said (per Yahoo!). "Children are the future, of any generation and every generation."

Unsurprisingly, Prince is typically very involved in the event, as seen in an Instagram post he shared in November 2022 that gave a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their yearly celebration. "There's so much work, blood, sweat and tears that goes into the making of this event[...] Unfortunately (as my team knows) the night of the event is hectic for me, so much so I usually see things that happen at the event on IG or YouTube well after it's done."

Prince is in a long-term relationship

According to In Touch Weekly, Prince has been in a serious long-term relationship with girlfriend Molly Schirmang for almost six years. The two met in college at Loyola and have been inseparable ever since. Although the couple keeps a low profile, they can sometimes be seen attending events together. Prince also occasionally posts photos with Molly on his Instagram — the most recent being at "Thriller Nights" in 2022, where they dressed up as Peter Pan and Tinker Bell.

March 2022 marked the couple's five-year anniversary together, which Prince commemorated in a sweet Instagram post gushing over his beloved. "5 years together. Lots of trips, miles, smiles, meals, desserts and all kinds of adventures in between. Love you babs," he wrote.

In an interview with People Magazine, he shared the secret to how they maintain their relationship. "I think in everything there's an important balance," he said. "I think that I'm a certain way, and she's very — I don't want to say opposite — but complementary in a way that we balance each other out. I'm more aggressive, she's a little softer."

The siblings have a close bond

In an interview with Good Morning Britain, Prince shared the close relationship that he and his siblings share. "At this point in our life it doesn't really feel like there's that hierarchy of, 'I'm the older brother,'" he said. "It's more [that] we're all siblings and we're kind of all on that same level where my sister has her strengths, and my brother has his strengths, and where I'm not as strong in certain areas, they complement me in that way."

In a rare, sweet moment shared in a Tiktok video, the siblings were all spotted together at their cousin Genevieve Jackson's wedding in May 2022. The video begins with Prince and Paris dancing with interlocked hands, while Bigi stands aside to watch as his siblings begin busting some moves on the dance floor to Earth, Wind & Fire's "Let's Groove." This moment really gives viewers a small glimpse inside the close, fun bond the siblings share together, which fans showed appreciation for. "MJ would be proud," one use wrote. "Love to see them lovin' life. Can't wait to see what the future holds for all 3 of them," another person commented.

Paris came out as sexually fluid

In an Instagram story, Paris stated that she has always been open about her sexual orientation, and that she was actually surprised when it became news in 2018. Per Good Morning America, Paris wrote, "I came out when I was 14. I've referred to the community as 'my fellow LGBTQ+' on stage before." She continued, "I've talked about having a crush on girls when I was 8 in my Rolling Stone article. There are pictures of me kissing girls online. Why are people just now saying this is news?"

She then went on to clarify her sexuality, "And I'm not 'bisexual. I just love people for people. I don't label myself so please don't label me. Thank you!"

According to ET Online, in a Facebook Watch video titled "Unfiltered: Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn," Paris admitted she had been with other women before. "The public only knows about three long-term relationships I've been with and they've been with men," she states. "The public doesn't know about, like, most of the relationships I've been in."

Paris does music

In 2020, Paris kickstarted her music career with her then-boyfriend Gabriel Glenn in a band called The Sunflowers. Later that year, Paris and Glenn broke up, which led to her starting a solo career. Her debut album was titled "Wilted," and featured songs such as "Collide," "Let Down," and "Eyelids."

In an Instagram video uploaded in January 2023, Paris shared her own acoustic cover of the song "Lazy Eye," made famous by the band Silversun Pickups (who she will be opening for during their 2023 tour). Alongside the post, Paris shared her excitement to tour with the band, and said the song perfectly summed up her feelings about it. A week later, Paris shared another Instagram video of her singing an unreleased song while playing an acoustic guitar, noting it as a "new song" in her caption. Paris's latest official releases include her EP titled "The Lost EP" and singles "Lighthouse" and "Just You," which were released in 2022.

Paris is a model and an actress

In 2017, Paris signed a modeling contract with IMG Models, an elite modeling agency whose roster has featured well-known models such as Gisele Bündchen, Karlie Kloss, Hailey Baldwin and Gigi and Bella Hadid (per USA Today). Paris has also graced the covers of Rolling Stone, Vogue Brasil, Vogue Australia, Vogue Hongkong, and Teen Vogue. She has also represented renowned fashion and beauty brands such as Kat Von D Beauty and SKIMS (which was co-founded by Kim Kardashian).

But singing and modeling aren't all that Paris can do — she also acts, making her a complete triple threat. Paris's acting career began in 2017 when she made an appearance as the character Rachel Wells in four episodes of the TV series "Star." Some of her bigger roles include appearances in "Scream: Resurrection" and TV shows like "American Horror Stories" and Hulu's teen comedy "Sex Appeal."

Bigi cares about climate change

Bigi (who used to go by the moniker Blanket) seems to want to keep his personal life very private, typically staying out of the spotlight. However, in 2021, he made a rare appearance in an interview with Good Morning Britain, where he stated his desire to create more awareness on climate change. "We have some work to do, but our generation knows how important it is," he said.

Just like their dad, Bigi and his siblings want to continue their father's legacy by making an impact in the world and honoring the work left behind by others. During the interview, while walking inside his father's estate, he said, "There's a lot of really cool stuff here. There's a lot of history in this house and the studio here. That's what he was all about. That's what each of us [siblings] want to do — make things that people enjoy but also benefit their lives."

Bigi bought his first house in 2020

According to Today, shortly after turning 18 in 2020, Bigi purchased his first home in Calabasas, California for a whopping $2.62 million. The Calabasas home sits in a guard-gated community, and features six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms. The spacious kitchen features a large island in the center, as well as a bar. The backyard is equipped with a huge patio, with a built-in barbecue area and a huge in-ground pool and jacuzzi. Per Dirt, some of his neighbors include Dr. Dre, John Travolta, Kendra Wilkinson, and retired NBA star Al Harrington.

Meanwhile, both of his older siblings purchased their first homes in 2017. Paris bought a $2 million home located in Topanga Canyon, but sold the home in 2022 to buy a $3.8 million cabin-style home in Hollywood Hills that was once owned by Rock Hudson (per Architectural Digest). Prince, on the other hand, purchased his first home for $2.2 million in Rancho Palos Verdes, California (per Dirt).
