Everything We Know About Tracy And Bryan From I Love A Mama's Boy

TLC's "I Love A Mama's Boy" gives viewers an inside look at the unconventional relationship between a romantic pair and the dominating mother of the male partner. Bryan, Tracy, and Jayne Van Carter proved to be the perfect addition to the Season 2 cast with their unorthodox honeymoon. The Miami-based couple met in college. Tracy shared on "I Love A Mama's Boy," "I was a cheerleader and he was a basketball player. And all the girls were talking about him and I was like, 'I want him.'" After more than 10 years of dating, the two finally tied the knot and were planning their honeymoon when the season started.

During the wedding planning, Tracy soon learned that Bryan and his mom Jayne were "a package deal" and live life as "besties." The show captured Bryan's eagerness to make sure his wedding day was just as "special" for Jayne as it would be for Tracy. "I want you to have a special day as well because you never had a wedding of your own," he admitted.

After tying the knot, Bryan was happy to also invite his mom and children on his honeymoon without Tracy's approval. Even Tracy's friend Asia was taken aback by Brian making the executive decision to invite Jayne on his honeymoon vacation.

Why Bryan is so close with Jayne

The root cause behind Bryan and Jayne's unshakable bond on "I Love A Mama's Boy" stems from his upbringing in a single-parent household. After Jayne's Non-Hodgkins lymphoma diagnosis when Bryan was just 14, the health scare sparked his desire to spend as much time as he could with his matriarch and best friend (via Starcasm). Bryan was the one who asked Jayne to relocate to Miami to be closer to him, and she was happy to oblige. Thanks to Jayne living with her son, Bryan receives the red carpet "Mama's Boy" treatment including daily breakfast and lunch and a free babysitter for the Bryan and Tracy's two sons.

While Tracy enjoys Jayne's help, she also wants time alone with her family. Tracy has two sons of her own. She welcomed her youngest, Austin, with Bryan, and her eldest son, Kyan, was born her senior year of high school. She doesn't share too much of her personal life on social media. However, Tracy has shared adorable family bonding moments with her two boys. "Because I have a brother, I will always have a friend," she captioned one Instagram photo of her sons.

Another black and white photo that Bryan took showed Tracy cuddled up with their kids on Easter Sunday. "Grateful to bae for capturing this candid moment of us on Easter Sunday," she captioned the Instagram post. Another Instagram photo taken during their "wedding weekend" showed Tracy and Bryan enjoying some alone time ahead of Jayne crashing their honeymoon.

Inside Jayne's babysitting style

After officially becoming Mrs. Van Carter, Tracy wanted Bryan to make her the number one woman in his life. However, Bryan had already invited Jayne on their honeymoon since his mom never got to experience that for herself. Tracy had hopes of enjoying a traditional honeymoon with just her husband, but she soon learned on "I Love A Mama's Boy" that not only her mother-in-law but her children would be in attendance as well. Since Bryan couldn't bring it upon himself to disinvite his mom, she attended under the agreement that she would watch the kids (via People).

However, after enjoying drinks at the bar, Jayne broke the "ground rules" and left the kids with a sitter while she joined her son and his wife inside the hot tub. That was when Tracy blasted Jayne for her "raggedy" style of babysitting. Despite all the drama shared on Season 2 of "I Love A Mama's Boy," though, Bryan and Tracy seem to be fine (via Reality Titbit). Apparently, he has no quarrels with making space for two leading ladies in his life despite his wife's complaints.
