Christina On The Coast Has Been Renewed For A Second Season

Christina on the Coast, a spin-off of the hit HGTV show Flip or Flop, has been renewed for a second season. The renewal was announced by the network on August 14, and fans couldn't be happier.

The show follows Christina Anstead as she grows her design business. It also explores her shifting family dynamics with her new husband, Ant Anstead, and the baby they are expecting in September. Anstead also shared the news on Instagram, posing with her baby bump next to a crib. "So BEYOND excited to announce that Christina On The Coast has been picked up for a second season!!!" she captioned the picture. "13 brand new episodes coming in 2020!! Thank you @hgtv for the opportunity- and to all of you for your support- so grateful!!"

The news of Christina on the Coast being renewed came not long after it was announced that Anstead's ex-husband and Flip or Flop co-host, Tarek El Moussa, would be receiving his own spin-off show, Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa, also set to air in 2020.

While it might seem like Anstead and El Moussa are going their separate ways following their breakup in 2016, the two are still working together on Flip or Flop. Season 8 of the show premiered on August 1. Recently, El Moussa's new girlfriend, Heather Rae Young, said that she doesn't mind the time El Moussa spends with his ex-wife on Flip or Flop. "I'm a really confident person and I'm confident in our relationship, and I think what he does and everything he has going on is so amazing," she told Radar Online. "I'm fully supportive of everything."
