Little People, Big World's Jeremy Roloff Opens Up About Losing His Grandmother

Things have been hard for the Roloff family lately. In September, Amy Roloff reported that her beloved mother, Patricia Knight, had passed away after a long illness. The Little People, Big World star, who had gotten engaged to her longtime beau Chris Marek days before her mother's passing, was understandably heartbroken over the loss.

"I am so sad about my mom's passing but comforted by all the memories I have and that she lived a happy, long life with my father," she told People. "She was a great mom. Thank you for all the condolences and well wishes. Life is a gift, appreciate the moments in each day."

Amy Roloff missed the end of pumpkin season for her mom's memorial service

On October 20, Amy Roloff revealed in an Instagram post that she would be missing the rest of pumpkin season — a beloved Roloff Farms tradition — to attend her mother's memorial service with her children.

"I'm torn with my emotions," she wrote. "I miss her so much and at the same time happy she's not in pain anymore and with the Lord. I'll miss Chris while I'm gone but so glad he'll be coming out to be with me for the service and My kids too. It's a kind of mixed emotions for my heart kind of day. I'm sad and yet I know I'm blessed in many ways and I'm so thankful for life and moments."

Jeremy Roloff expressed his grief over the loss of his grandmother

Amy Roloff's son, Jeremy Roloff, opened up about his loss on Instagram after his grandmother's memorial service. "She was an amazing women, a pioneer for her time and I'm thankful, honored even, to have Knight blood in me," he wrote on October 26. "Although heartbreaking, [the memorial] was a celebration indeed."

Jeremy Roloff also posted a picture of his grandmother holding his daughter, Ember Roloff. The picture was taken over the summer on a family trip to visit his grandparents. "This is my grandma, Patricia Knight, holding Ember," he wrote on Instagram. "So glad she was able to meet her... This photo is very special now."
