Schroeder's then-boyfriend of two years popped the question in a setting only she could find romantic: a cemetery. The reality TV star and author is a self-professed big fan of murder, as fans of Vanderpump Rules can attest. As People reported, Clark got down on one knee in the iconic Hollywood Forever graveyard with a fake urn in his hand, in which an antique diamond ring was housed. Clark had been planning to propose since January 2019 but purposely threw Schroeder off the scent before popping the question in August and completely surprising her.
The gorgeous piece of jewelry is actually a family heirloom that dates back to the early 1900s. The 3.5-carat platinum ring includes a large European round-cut diamond encompassed by 24 smaller stones. According to Clark, the ring originally belonged to his grandfather, who got it back in the 1940s or 1950s and subsequently passed it on to his aunt.
"It's beautiful. I feel like it's like Cinderella's glass slipper or something in a ring. It's like, straight out of Downton Abbey," gushed Schroeder, who admitted she isn't someone who's fantasized for years about what her engagement ring could or should look like. "Beau kind of asked me, 'What do you like?' I'm like, 'I kind of like everything,'" she recalled.

Schroeder's stunning engagement ring was first glimpsed in photos shared by Bravo's The Lookbook. "I can't believe that this is actually real. I get to wear this all the time," she told The Lookbook.
Immediately after the engagement, the Vanderpump Rules star posted an Instagram Story. "I woke up today just thinking I was going to tour mausoleums to see if I wanted to buy one, and this, f**king this," she said as she showed off her ring, as reported by Page Six. She also joked about feeling like Meghan Markle thanks to her new bling.
Conservative estimates put the price of the ring between $40,000 and $80,000, according to Page Six, but James Allen founder James Schultz reckons it could be worth much more, estimating it could be valued at upwards of $100,000. Not bad, Stassi!
