The rumored affair between Kristi and "special government employee" Corey Lewandowski took a wild turn after her husband Bryon's own infidelity was put on blast. An exposé by the Daily Mail revealed her husband's alleged double life, including explicit messages with other women and $25,000 worth of payouts. This undoubtedly embarrassed not only his own parents after they defended his loyalty in the face of the Lewandowski rumors, but also their three children.

All things considered, the Noem children had been putting on a brave face, as Peters and her younger sister Kennedy Frick were still uploading their "Threads of Wellth" podcast — even boasting about its stats on Instagram. However, we might not be hearing from Kassidy for a while, as the addition of Bryon's scandal has forced her to go private on social media.

The children and relatives of public figures are often forced to answer for their family's mistakes, but the combined scandals of Bryon and Kristi Noem wouldn't be the first time that their eldest daughter, Kassidy Noem Peters, has been caught in the crosshairs.

Whether Peters will pick a side, pick no side, or simply disappear from the public eye is still uncertain.
