All Of Amy Schumer's Outfits Since Splitting From Husband Chris Fischer

Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer announced their separation on December 12, 2025. "Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years," Schumer wrote on Instagram. "We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time." They officially filed for divorce on January 6, 2026.

The couple married in February 2018 and welcomed son Gene David Fischer on May 5, 2019. The couple made a concerted effort to keep their son out of the spotlight, focusing on family life that was deliberately separate from Schumer's stardom. While things seemed to be smooth sailing for the family for many years, Schumer sent divorce rumors into overdrive with an admission about her troubled marriage in early December 2025 after she lost weight. Schumer wrote, "Whatever ends up happening with me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism. Fingers crossed we make it through. He's the best."

Unfortunately, many read her message as an admission of failure rather than hope. Sure enough, the two separated shortly after. While divorces can be tremendously taxing, Schumer has made an obvious effort to rally, sharing her life on Instagram after her marriage ended. What fans have noticed are Schumer's delightful outfits post-divorce. They're not all sexy revenge dresses — though some are — but she's obviously sending a message that she's living her best life.

Schumer looked hip in a black-and-white mini dress

On January 19, 2026, Amy Schumer posted a carousel of photos showing some of her best looks hot on the heels of her divorce from Chris Fischer. In one photo, she wore a black and white mini dress by Maison Valentino featuring a plunging neckline and three quarter sleeves. Schumer wore her long blonde hair down in loose curls.

In a since-deleted post featuring photos of this same dress, Schumer wrote about getting dressed up to go out and then changing her mind. "I'm feeling strong and like myself," she wrote in the caption on Instagram. "I'm enjoying how I look but man it is all about how you feel." She continued, writing, "I got all dressed up and ready to go to my friends 50th and then decided I wasn't feeling up to it and wanted to stay home with my little guy. Thanks for all the love. Sending it right back."

The little black and white dress was certainly glamorous enough to wear to a birthday party, but it's entirely possible that so close after filing for divorce, Schumer may not have been ready to brave the world. She looked so good that we can only hope she got the chance to wear the Maison Valentino dress again.

She channeled a sexier side in a strapless red mini dress

Amy Schumer has undergone a stunning transformation, and this could not have been more evident than when she shared several outfits on Instagram on January 19, 2026. In one of the photos, Schumer shared a photo of a red Valentino mini dress featuring a heart-shaped design on the chest with black buttons. Considering the fact that Valentine's Day was only a few weeks away, the dress certainly seemed perfect for the holiday.

In fact, Valentine's Day proved to be kind of a big deal for Schumer that year. On February 14, 2026, she posted a message of self love in an Instagram Story. Sharing a selfie, Schumer wrote, "Give yourself all the love today," adding later, "Happy vday." Promoting self love after a divorce isn't a bad idea. In fact, taking yourself out on a solo date could be the self-care practice you need. So Schumer's focus on gentleness and kindness directed within was a positive step after the upheaval of her divorce. And her gorgeous little red dress no doubt supercharged that sentiment of self love.

She played with old Hollywood glamour in a fur coat

Amy Schumer absolutely nailed it when she posed in a brown fur coat in a cluster of photos shared to Instagram on January 19, 2026. The coat featured a brown pattern and had fur detailing along the cuffs and collar. The ravishing Valentino outerwear gave her an aura of old Hollywood glamour, complete with her romantic curls framing her face. Schumer credited the vintage and luxury curator Luxury Checkins in the caption, so it's quite likely that the coat is vintage.

Schumer paired the look with sky-high, black stiletto heels and showed off some leg. While Schumer didn't overdo it with revenge outfits following her divorce from Chris Fischer, it's pretty clear in this instance that the sumptuous fur coat and black heels were a bold, sexy choice. Schumer's incredible outfit earned a place amongst celebrity revenge dresses that stunned the world. There's no denying that Fischer clocked what he was missing that night.

Schumer showed her flirtatious side in a butter-yellow mini dress

While Amy Schumer can pull off vintage Hollywood vibes better than anybody, the comedian can also get away with a ruffled, babydoll mini dress just as easily. In the same carousel of photos from January 2026, Schumer posed in a butter yellow mini dress by Valentino featuring delicate bows along the hemline. She styled it with black heels. While the dress was undeniably sexy, it also had an innocent touch thanks to the soft bow detailing, giving it something of a vintage nightgown vibe. It just further served to prove Schumer's sartorial range.

It's worth noting that Schumer rarely wears jewelry. For instance, this dress would have been a great opportunity to style bracelets or a necklace, but Schumer opted for no accessories. In fact, her dislike of jewelry sparked divorce rumors before she and Chris Fischer announced their separation, because Schumer was seen without her engagement ring. Responding to the wave of online gossip, Schumer wrote, "I never wear jewelry" in an Instagram Story at the time (via New York Post). While this did little to stop the rumors, Schumer has proven true to her word. She really doesn't use jewelry in any form as a vehicle for embellishment.

Her soft pink dress was a surprisingly matronly choice

Not every outfit can be a home run. In the midst of several fabulous outfits that Amy Schumer shared on Instagram in January 2026 after she filed for divorce from Chris Fischer, one outfit left us wanting more. As Schumer posed with another woman, she wore a pale pink dress with a high neckline, long sleeves and a midi-length hem. The frock could easily be counted amongst the most tacky outfits that Schumer ever wore in public

There were a few reasons why this dress failed. For one, the pale pink color washed out Schumer. Secondly, Schumer shines in playful, bold pieces of clothing. This dress, with its prim silhouette and fussy little bow at the neck, looked frumpy and dowdy. The boxy shoulders widened her torso while the long sleeves looked stuffy. Even the feather hem couldn't liven up this museum-level dress, and Schumer looked like a schoolmarm instead of the hilarious, vivacious woman she is.

Schumer wore a chic burnt orange skirt suit while speaking with Gloria Steinem

On February 24, 2026, Amy Schumer shared several photos from a gathering with Gloria Steinem in the activist's home. Schumer said that the conversation focused on the splitting of the invisible workload in the home. "Great to see friends old and new," Schumer wrote in the caption. "Gloria's talking circles are legendary in the feminist community."

For the occasion, Schumer wore a fabulous burnt orange sweater and skirt combo. The warm, earthy shade created a rich contrast against her blonde hair and fair complexion. The outfit also showed a style evolution in Schumer following her divorce. It was a very serious look, creating a striking contrast from the playful mini dresses that she had posted the month prior on Instagram. Schumer was striking out on a new frontier in terms of her looks, choosing curated pieces that gave her an elegant and sophisticated polish.

Amy Schumer looked casual in jeans

Amy Schumer showed that she could rock a chill look when she attended the premiere of "Lorne" on April 9, 2026 in New York. The documentary film was about Lorne Michaels, the creator of "Saturday Night Live." In a since-deleted post on Instagram about the night, Schumer spoke about her fitness journey while also poking fun at Michaels. "Shout out to [Real Pilates] for making me feel so strong," Schumer began, adding, "Lots of love and respect to the man who started it all and has given me some of the best night of my life (sexually)."

Schumer's vibe that night was very relaxed. She wore light wash slim-fit jeans with a pink cardigan set and pink sandals. Schumer styled her hair in loose curls. It was clear that she was comfortable at that point in her level of stardom because Schumer had nothing to prove, and looked that much more hip for it.

Her black midi-dress had Meghan Markle vibes

Amy Schumer looked stunning in a sleek black dress as she posed with friends. Schumer showed off her dress in a carousel of photos she posted on Instagram on May 17, 2026 with the simple caption, "New York City." It was yet another instance where Schumer's trim figure further highlighted her weight loss journey.

Schumer's sleeveless black dress was very sophisticated, particularly because it had a midi-length hem. It was reminiscent of the popular dresses worn by Meghan Markle when she was a part of the royal family. The top of the dress was fitted and flattering on Schumer's frame, while the A-line skirt made Schumer look poised thanks to its clean lines. The stylish simplicity showed another level of Schumer's style evolution post-divorce. It was more grown up, thanks to the dress' sharp tailoring, giving Schumer a gently flowing silhouette.

Amy Schumer was an elegant dream in a cream dress on a yacht

Amy Schumer shared yet another gorgeous look in a post on Instagram on May 28, 2026. Posing next to the railing of a yacht, Schumer stunned in a white Gabriela Hearst dress with a black belt. The look was very different from the early days of her divorce, where Schumer wore fitted mini dresses. This dress was longer, with a plunging neckline and elegant sleeves. The Gabriela Hearst team commented on the photo, saying: "Gorgeous."

Schumer actually has a history with Gabriela Hearst. At the 2022 Met Gala, with a theme of Gilded Glamour, Schumer wore a double-breasted black coat dress by Gabriela Hearst with large cat-eye sunglasses. Speaking to La La Anthony for Vogue, Schumer joked about her look. "Everybody's always at home [asking] 'What is Amy going to wear this year?' They're on the edge of their seats," she said (via People). "When Gabriela Hearst says she's going to dress you, you put your Spanx on, right over your C-section scar and you get on that carpet, am I right? Am I right?" While Schumer was making light of the night, it's clear that she gravitates towards the designer, and judging from how gorgeous she looked both at the Met and on the boat, it's no wonder.

Her black, strapless bathing suit was classic beachwear

Amy Schumer showed off a different kind of post-divorce outfit on May 31, 2026, when she shared a series of photos from a vacation. "I got bounded today thanks ma and dad," she wrote in the caption, referencing her birthday. Schumer looked chic in a strapless black bathing suit and a straw visor while riding a standup paddle board. She kept things sporty by wearing her hair pulled back in a ponytail.

Shortly after Schumer announced on social media that she and Chris Fischer were separating, she spoke about hitting rock bottom in a video shared on Instagram with Noa Tishby. "When things are the absolute worst is when my family is the funniest," Schumer said, crediting comedy as a source of joy in her life. "Just when we hit rock bottom is when we can laugh the hardest." Considering the fact that Schumer said this right after making her split public hits home; it was obviously a tough time for her. So the fact that only five months later, Schumer was able to enjoy herself on a vacation — and look fabulous doing so — speaks to her resiliency. The trip was no doubt a much-needed escape to feel rejuvenated and show off some stylish beachwear.

Her boho peasant blouse look was very on-trend for the summer

Amy Schumer, born on June 1, 1981, shared more birthday festivities. In a post on Instagram on June 6, 2026, the comedian gave friends and fans a glimpse of a birthday night out where she got a cake and went to see Titanique, the Broadway musical. For the night, Schumer wore a light pink boho shirt and matching shorts, keeping things comfortable and simple for her night out.

The best thing about the peasant-style blouse and matching shorts is how free-spirited it looks. Obviously, Schumer was getting her sparkle back after her divorce from Chris Fischer. The delicate embroidery and ruffled edges gave the look a feminine finish. She wore her hair in loose, natural curls and her whole vibe had a fun, unfussy finish to it. Clearly, her priority that night was to connect with friends and have a good time, which seems like a pretty good way to recover after a breakup.

Amy Schumer stepped out in a babydoll dress with a pink bow

Amy Schumer channeled a preppy vibe when she attended the One Party by Uber in New York on June 12, 2026 to kick off the World Cup. For the occasion, Schumer wore a brown and white checked dress with a pastel pink bow and nude sandals. She wore her hair pulled back in a curled ponytail, keeping things fun and carefree. The event sounded like a blast, featuring a performance by the Backstreet Boys and a DJ set by Mark Ronson. Other notable guests included: Lindsay Lohan, Ciara, Andy Cohen, and Malin Akerman.

The dress was a departure from the aesthetic that Schumer had been inhabiting months before. She nixed the long, flowing hemline of the Gabriela Hearst dresses and opted for something more sporty and youthful. And considering how short the dress was, it was clear that Schumer felt confident showing off her toned legs. It's clear that Schumer was in a really good place. Earlier, she spoke about her health and wellness journey in a now-deleted Instagram video. "[Doctors] put me on estrogen and progesterone because I realized I was in perimenopause and my symptoms from being perimenopause have disappeared," Schumer began (via Us Weekly). "My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy, I want to get down more, if you know what I mean. I'm talking about sex."

Schumer showed off her adventurous side post-split

Sometimes, an outfit can point to a really good phase in someone's life. On July 23, 2026, Amy Schumer posted a series of photos after she went scuba diving. While the outfit — a wetsuit and a burgundy tank top underneath — wasn't as flashy as some of her other post-divorce outfits, it was clear that Schumer was having a blast and doing something fun.

"Scuba diving? I think yes. We took the PADI test and trained and dove I am so proud of myself and my homie Lorraine," Schumer wrote in the caption. Later, she spoke poignantly about the experience, but the sentiment seemed to reach far beyond a scuba diving experience. "I feel braver and more grounded than ever," Schumer went on. "Good reminder to [stay] calm and just breathe. And to be present and take it all in. We are all more capable than we think." That seems like useful advice for anyone going through a life change, particularly a divorce. Schumer went out of her comfort zone and was rewarded with an enriching experience, and that's certainly a moment worth capturing.
