What These Once-Popular QVC Hosts Are Doing Today

Since 1986, the QVC ("Quality, Value, Convenience") network has kept viewers endlessly entertained with their myriad of diverse products, engaging shows, and unforgettable TV hosts. Home shoppers tune in to see the latest high-end gadgets, fashion trends, recipes, and more, the channel becoming a go-to source for sellers and consumers.

Throughout its many decades on the air, QVC has helped propel many of its presenters' careers, these hosts endearing themselves to fans everywhere even after departing the network. Longtime audiences are often left devastated whenever one of their favorite TV personalities leave their QVC posts, as they have become fixtures in their home and a face they look forward to seeing every week.

Some of the network's biggest talents have gone on to find major success following their stints at QVC, with familiar figures like Christa Pitts, Dan Huges, and Jill Bauer all going on to find fulfillment in both their personal and professional lives. While some of these popular hosts left on their own accord to chase their creative dreams, others were laid off from the network as a result of downsizing and were forced to pivot their career trajectories. 

For two decades, Lisa Robertson endeared herself to QVC viewers with her welcoming smile and impressive knowledge of a wide range of products. Robertson ultimately left the network in 2014 to focus on her own business venture, the TV personality launching an online boutique and selling jewelry while also maintaining her personal blog.

"After a lot of soul-searching I have decided that I will be leaving QVC. It is time for a new challenge and a new adventure," she wrote in a blog post announcing her departure. "Although it is a little scary to leave what you have always known, I am very excited about what lays ahead." Robertson's fans keep up with the former host and enjoy seeing her model her own jewelry pieces on her social media account.

One of her followers marveled at how youthful she still looks since her QVC days, the user commenting, "You do not age my friend!" Robertson tied the knot with contractor Jeff Lawrence in 2023, the couple moving to the Bahamas to enjoy semi-retirement and a more laid-back lifestyle. 

Carolyn Gracie became a popular face of QVC thanks to her successful shows like "Carolyn's Closet" and "The Garden Party with Carolyn," and in 2023 she shocked fans when she announced she was parting ways with the network after 19 years. Though Gracie never gave an explicit reason why she departed, many believed it was due to QVC's parent company Qurate Retail Group scaling back its personnel and employees.

Gracie was let go from QVC alongside fellow longtime host Dan Hughes, the company releasing a statement about the lofty layoffs and announcing it would affect "approximately 400 of our team members." She bounced back and created her Girl Next Door gardener collection, even returning to QVC to promote her own products in 2024.

"Hello my Friends! I can't keep this a secret any longer! Are you ready?!? I am thrilled to announce that I have created my own exciting new brand, "Girl Next Door by Carolyn"!" she wrote on Instagram. "Inspired by my longtime love of gardening and pets, it's a collection of beautiful, whimsical and functional items for your home and garden." 

Kathy Levine served as a host when QVC first launched in November 1986, the TV personality becoming one of the network's go-to beauty gurus and working alongside famed comedian Joan Rivers for a decade. Together, the duo became comedy gold for the network and helped promote the Joan Rivers Collection. Levine walked away from the network in 2000 after 14 years and subsequently penned the best-selling book "It's Better to Laugh..." and collaborated with other shopping networks.

In 2022, she briefly returned to QVC for the anniversary of its jewelry line Diamonique and now hosts a monthly show for the brand. "It's serendipity. Twenty-two years after leaving the company, Diamonique was celebrating a 35th birthday, and it was suggested I make a guest appearance," she told Main Line Today.

In the interview, Levine praised her devoted fans for sticking with her on her TV presenting journey. "That turned into a monthly show on QVC's sister channel, QVC2. Many of my audience members were young kids when I started in 1986. Now, like me, they're grandmothers. Can you say loyal? I love them."  

Dan Wheeler first joined QVC in 1988 and became one of the network's longest-tenured hosts, earning the title of senior program host in 1991 staying in the position until his retirement in 2017. Wheeler's decision to walk away came in the wake of his wife Beth's death in 2015; she had been diagnosed with Stage IV endometrial cancer in 2012.

Wheeler wrote about their inspiring relationship in the book "Hurricane of Love: My Journey with Beth Wheeler" and established Fearless Faith Ministries to honor her legacy. "She was an amazing woman ... I've been on national TV for 40 years, but my wife was the real star of the family. She would make you feel instantly at home the moment you met her, like you knew her all your life," he said to Branson Tri Lake News in 2018.

The TV staple has since remarried in 2023 and creates daily videos known as Your Morning Cup of Inspiration for Fearless Faith Ministries. "We call it your morning cup of inspiration and we have a cup of coffee... I wanted it to be one-on-one," Wheeler told CCM Magazine. 

Jennifer Coffey joined QVC in 2011 as a program host and stayed for 13 years, the media personality announcing her departure in 2024 to pursue her other creative passions. Coffey revealed her decision to leave the network in a heartfelt Instagram post. "We close out one chapter and begin another. I can't wait to hear about your new adventures as I share mine with you too," she poignantly wrote.

Coffey subsequently opened up the yoga studio The Phoenix Yoga in Pennsylvania. "If you know me, you know this has been something that I've wanted to do for quite some time, and now that I have the time to work on this passion project, I get to put everything that I have inside of it," she said in an Instagram video.

Coffey married her husband, senior global finance executive Davinder Athwal, in 2024 and relocated to Georgia, selling her studio. In 2025, she became a brand ambassador for HomeWorx by Slatkin + Co. and launched "The Phoenix Podcast" that same year. Coffey has since returned to QVC in 2026 to help promote fall fragrance products. 

Antonella Nester was a staple at the network for 18 years when she confirmed she'd been let go in 2020, receiving overwhelming love and support from fans. Nester was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma that same year and underwent intensive treatment for the cancer. She experienced additional personal hurdles including losing her home and her husband suffering a heart attack, but she is now in remission and happily lives on a boat.

"And this is all within six months. I lost my job. We lost our house. I got diagnosed with two cancers," she said on the "StRest" podcast in 2026. "He had a heart attack. Went through chemo and radiation. And I laugh, honey, because if I don't I'll cry."

Fans donated to a GoFundMe to help Nester and she has bounced back, serving as a jewelry presenter for the JTV jewelry channel. Despite the many setbacks, Nester has taken things in stride. "I am living every single day so fabulously. There is no schedule. I am looking at the trees, the birds, the sky. You see it from a different viewpoint," she told Survivor Net. 

Gabrielle Kerr kickstarted her QVC career in 2007 when she was hired as a Program Host, collaborating with famous faces like reality star Kim Kardashian and legendary celebrity designer Bob Mackie. Kerr's knack for storytelling helped her become a fan-favorite presence and the host of "A.M. Style," and audiences were stunned when she was let go from the network after 13 years following major layoffs in 2020.

Kerr has since embraced being an influencer and provides her insight and fashion and beauty trends, selling products for Lug Live while also creating the YouTube series "Busy Beauty with Gabrielle." A devoted mother of 2, she has been married to her husband Judson Kerr since 2008 and enjoys traveling the world with her family.

In 2026, the bubbly TV personality announced she would be returning to QVC. "I'm so excited to be returning to @qvc as the new on-air guest for one of the most iconic legacy beauty brands @kevynaucoin," she revealed on Instagram, adding, "I look forward to reconnecting with you all and talking all things beauty!!!"  

Jill Bauer became an on-air host at QVC in 1993, utilizing her skills as a news reporter to provide engaging insight to audiences and helping the network generate $4 billion in sales. Bauer left the shopping channel in 2019 to pursue her other passions, becoming a brand ambassador for Scott Brothers Global and launching her own brand Just Jill.

The company offers her on-air expertise and marketing knowledge, as well as creative partnerships. Bauer also provides media consulting and training and has been a contributor to news programs including "Good Day New York," "TODAY Show," and "NY Live." The TV host detailed her collaboration with "Property Brothers" Drew and Jonathan Scott on her brand's website in 2021.

"I believe in what Drew and Jonathan have built. I admire their work ethic. I like their products. I BUY their products. Those are all things that were really important to me in deciding to work with a brand and returning to QVC." As a brand ambassador for the Scott brothers, Bauer returned to the network to help promote their lifestyle brand and products.  

QVC veteran Mary Beth Roe officially departed the network in 2025 after a staggering 37 years as a host, her decision inspired by the sudden passing of a close friend. Roe felt as though life was too short and she largely retired in order to spend more time with her family and young grandchildren.

"I have four grandkids, and I don't want to regret missing out on their lives because I spent another year or two working," she told Us Weekly of her choice to retire. "Plus, I always said to myself I will never leave my team until I feel like my team is strong and cohesive and just a great team of hosts, and it is right now."

She keeps her followers up to date on her social media, frequently sharing wholesome snapshots of her triplet grandsons. Roe has since welcomed another bundle of joy into her family, the seasoned presenter sharing a photo of herself cradling her newest grandchild in August 2026.    

After enjoying a long career in the news industry, Stacey Stauffer decided to pivot her creative passion and joined QVC as a Program Host in 2014. She used her reporting skills and engaging personality to set herself apart from her fellow hosts, working with celebrities including Martha Stewart and Ina Garten.

In 2020, she was let go by the network after 6 years, the host seemingly alluding to her firing on Instagram by sharing a photo of four bottles of wine. "I just may drink all 4 of these tonight.... #winemakesitbetter #roséallday" she cryptically wrote. Stauffer moved on from the network and became an On-Air Personality for GLA while also launching her brand Savor It With Stacey, teaching cooking classes and sharing meal recipes.

Fans of the media personality are even able to book virtual culinary sessions with Stauffer and interact with her one-on-one. She became the Sunrise Chef for WFMZ-TV and serves as a brand ambassador for multiple companies including California Innovations and LonoLife bone broth.  

Patti Reilly was a legendary QVC host who became a staple on the network throughout her 11-year tenure, working with the likes of the fashionable Kardashians and Joan Rivers before departing in the network in 2011. According to her official website, Reilly racked up over 13,000 hours of live TV and helped present over 60,000 products during her hosting career.

"It's true that I am leaving QVC after 11 great years. I'm looking forward to opening myself up to new ideas and experiences in life, but I'd be fooling myself if I didn't admit that it's a little scary," she announced on her blog (per The Cinemaholic), adding that she wanted to spend more time with her friends and family.

In 2013, Reilly launched Patti Reilly TV and became a Brand Strategist and Live Stream Host, expanding on her company and clientele. She also provides her expertise in helping people grow their brand and is in charge of the Atlanta-based media training and consulting business known as The Selling Coach. 

Jacque Gonzales began working for QVC in 2002 and served as a go-to host for 15 years, promoting products for major brands like Apple, LG, Bobbi Brown, and Dell and selling everything from fashion accessories to high-tech gadgets. After leaving the network in 2017, she launched Jacque Gonzales Media, for which she provided media training and coaching for on-air presentations.

Gonzales became a part of the County of Chester in Pennsylvania and served as Inspector of Elections from 2018 to 2022, becoming re-elected while continuing to build her brand. In 2016, she had been diagnosed with a non-malignant form of breast cancer and opted to undergo a hysterectomy in 2022 as a preventative measure.

Gonzales became an outspoken proponent for the importance of mental health, traveling to the Capitol to give a speech for Trauma and Mental Health Awareness Day in 2023. "Simultaneously nervous and excited. I'm going over my speech and working at keeping my hot flashes down so I don't melt off my makeup and flatten my hair even more!" she wrote in an Instagram post. 

Christa Pitts served as a program host from 2001 to 2005 and amassed over 2,000 hours of live TV experience before leaving the network and expanding her career. That same year, she co-founded The Lumistella Company with her identical twin sister Chanda Bell, the duo coming up with a beloved holiday tradition shortly after and forever changing the toy world.

Pitts and Bell serve as co-CEOs of the company and notably helped create The Elf of the Shelf brand, which has become a global phenomenon and has sold 33.9 million products. The sisters based the toy on a family tradition they shared growing up, their mother using a vintage elf doll named Frisbee to bring Christmas spirit.

"We anticipated the elf as much, if not more, as we did Santa's own arrival," Pitts told New York Magazine's The Strategist of the product's wholesome origins. "It was basically like Christmas morning every single day leading up to the actual day of Christmas." Elf on the Shelf has gotten so popular that it even spawned the Santaverse while also being featured as a balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. 

Longtime QVC fans were stunned when Dan Hughes was dismissed from the network in 2023 after enjoying a remarkable 33 years with the network. Like many of his fellow veteran hosts, Hughes' departure coincided with Qurate Retail Inc.'s downsizing of the company and their elimination of 400 jobs due to budgetary restraints.

Hughes took his departure in stride and has kept quite busy, producing content for the fast-growing company Scrub Daddy while also returning to his stand-up comedy roots and even becoming an author. He was swiftly pursued by the cleaning brand following his firing, as the host had helped sell 45,000 of their sponges at QVC within just 6 minutes. Naturally, the company and its CEO Aaron Krause enlisted Hughes' talents.

Under playful monikers like "Scrub Daddy Dan" and "Mr. Dirt," Hughes helps promote Scrub Daddy products through social media videos and has helped the growing company thrive. He has also penned 6 novels including "Stealing the Sky" and "Christmas in the Heartland" and has dabbled in the stand-up comedy scene, a longtime interest of his. 

Sharon Faetsch became a darling at QVC and fan-favorite host amongst viewers thanks to her warm personality and playful humor. She stayed with the network from 2003 to 2018 before announcing her retirement after 15 years on-air, doing so in order to spend time with her two children Kaylee and Desmond and husband Langdon James.

"At 11 and 9 years old, my kids certainly aren't getting any younger, and I want to spend more time just being a mom," she wrote in a statement on Facebook. "QVC has been such a wonderful place to work and I will always remember the amazing time that I spent here." Faetsch continues to keep her followers up to date with her personal life on social media and even returned to QVC to work with Oak Valley Farms in 2023.

During her appearances on the network, she reunited with hosts David Venable and Mary Beth Roe to promote the company's products. Faetsch has since become a brand ambassador for HSN (Home Shopping Network), serving as a spokesperson for their collections Winter Lane, Spooky Lane, and South Street Loft.
