Joyce DeWitt From Three's Company Is Still Stunning Today
"Three's Company" was a 1970s and 1980s classic. The show premiered in 1976, peaked in viewership around the turn of the decade, and still had enough staying power to warrant a spinoff following its 1984 conclusion. Mind you, it certainly didn't hurt that "Three's Company" had someone as stunning as Joyce DeWitt as one of its leading ladies. DeWitt portrayed the character of Janet Wood, who exemplified brains as well as beauty, often serving as the all-important voice of reason among the show's lead trio of unlikely roommates. And while a lot has certainly changed since "Three's Company" went off the air more than four decades ago, one thing that hasn't been lost to time is DeWitt's ability to turn heads.
The photo above, for instance, was snapped in September 2026, when a 77-year-old DeWitt attended a special reunion event featuring the cast of "Wings" — which was itself a staple sitcom of the 1990s. If you're wondering what DeWitt was doing at a "Wings" reunion, considering she never appeared in even a single episode of the "Cheers" spinoff, it's because the event was put on by The John Ritter Foundation, named for her late "Three's Company" co-lead John Ritter (who himself did guest star in an episode of "Wings" in 1996). DeWitt was sure to look her best for the event, sporting a warm orange dress and, of course, her winning smile. Moreover, while her once-dark hair may have turned white and may not be as bouncy as it once was, she certainly still knows how to work with what she's got.
What Joyce DeWitt has been up to since Three's Company ended
Fans agree that Joyce DeWitt looks great decades after "Three's Company" went off the air. "She still looks awesome – it's cool that she let her hair go gray," one fan said in the comments of a YouTube video that shows her at a fan event in 2025. "Look at her hands, look at her face! She looks amazing," wrote another.
It's always nice to see Joyce DeWitt when she makes an appearance at an event like the "Wings" reunion in 2026. After all, she largely kept a low profile after "Three's Company" wrapped up in 1984 (at least, as far as mainstream acting itself is concerned). In fact, not counting a guest appearance on "Finder of Lost Loves" later that same year, DeWitt didn't start taking on new screen projects again until the mid-1990s. At the time of writing, DeWitt's most recent screen credit was in 2022, though she does have a couple of new projects coming down the pipeline. The sitcom icon has done quite a bit of stage work over the years as well.
In any case, while DeWitt was content to settle into a relatively quiet life after "Three's Company" came to an end, she does still fondly look back at her time on one of the most popular TV comedies of the '70s and '80s. Speaking to People at the aforementioned John Ritter Foundation event in September 2026, she shared, "I always used to say 'Three's Company' is a safe place for grownups to play. They know that whatever disaster happens, by 9:30 everything's going to be fine."
