10. Under the Autumn Moon
Hallmark sure does love the trope of a career-focused city gal heading to the country and falling in love. If this is your favorite trope, then "Under the Autumn Moon" could be your favorite fall flick. Starring Lindy Booth and Wes Brown, this 2018 movie follows a woman who works for an outdoor adventure company heading to scope out a dude ranch. There, she meets the ranch's enchanting owner.
At the time of writing, this movie has 46% on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.5 out of 10 on IMDb, and a 3.0 out of 5 Letterboxd score.
9. October Kiss
A Halloween movie that feels cozy rather than spooky is hard to come by. Yet, 2015's "October Kiss" starring Ashley Williams and Sam Jaeger provides exactly that. It follows a woman who's unlucky in both love and finding a career that fits her, which leads her to try her hand at being a nanny for a single dad just in time for Halloween.
At present, it has a 52% on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.6 out of 10 on IMDb, and a score of 2.7 out of 5 on Letterboxd.
8. Pumpkin Pie Wars
What would fall be without pumpkin pie? And, what would a fall Hallmark movie lineup be without "Pumpkin Pie Wars"? This playful pick answers the oft-asked question: "What if 'Romeo & Juliet' was about pie?" In the 2016 movie, Julie Gonzalo and Eric Aragon's characters enter the pumpkin pie-baking contest that started the long-running feud between their families years ago.
As of writing, the film has 53% on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.6 out of 10 on IMDb, and 2.7 out of 5 on Letterboxd, giving it the eighth place spot.
7. All of My Heart: Inn Love
Whether or not you've seen the 2015 film "All of My Heart" starring Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott, chances are you'll love its autumnal 2017 sequel, "All of My Heart: Inn Love." This sequel catches up with the couple from the OG movie now that they're engaged and follows them as they open their bed and breakfast.
It currently has a 46% on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.7 out of 10 on IMDb, and a Letterboxd score of 3.1 out of 5, landing it in seventh place.
6. Falling for Vermont
For a fall film that's a bit more on the serious side, the 2017 movie "Falling for Vermont" is an excellent choice. Fall movie fan favorite Julie Gonzalo plays a famous author who gets in a car accident that leaves her with amnesia. Not knowing who or where she is, she finds herself in Vermont in the care of a charming doctor played by Benjamin Ayres.
The film currently has a 57% on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.9 out of 10 on IMDb, and a 2.8 out of 5 score on Letterboxd.
5. Notes of Autumn
Is "The Holiday" your favorite holiday movie? Then, we have a feeling "Notes of Autumn" could be your new favorite autumn movie. In this 2023 film, best friends, played by Ashley Williams and Luke Macfarlane, are both struggling in their careers. So, they decide to switch homes in hopes of getting a change of scenery ... and perhaps a bit of romance. It is Hallmark, after all.
As of writing, it has 67% on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.3 out of 10 on IMDb, and a Letterboxd score of 3.0 out of 5, making it number five on the list.
4. Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade
Halloween isn't the only important holiday that rolls around every fall. Hallmark fans need a movie to watch leading up to Thanksgiving, too. "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" is required viewing for the occasion. In the 2012 movie, Autumn Reeser plays a passionate Chicago Thanskgiving Day Parade organizer. When she's forced to work with a financial consultant, played by Antonio Cupo, she teaches him to prioritize holiday spirit over money.
It has 62% on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.8 out of 10 on IMDb, and a 3.1 out of 5 Letterboxd score, as of writing.
3. A Harvest Wedding
October is the most popular month to get married (tied with June, per The Knot) for a reason. Fall weddings are particularly beautiful, so it's fitting that "A Harvest Wedding" is very high on the list of best autumnal Hallmark movies. The 2017 film stars Jill Wagner as a wedding planner, who returns to her hometown to plan a wedding on a farm run by her ex (played by Victor Webster).
As of writing, it's snagged a 76% on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.6 out of 10 on IMDb, and 3.0 out of 5 on Letterboxd, landing it in the coveted number three spot.
2. 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost
You can probably glean from the title that "3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost" isn't your typical Hallmark rom-com. Starring real-life Hallmark power couple Julie Gonzalo and Chris McNally, the 2023 movie follows a real estate agent, who is shocked to discover that a house she's selling is haunted by a 1920s flapper ghost, played by Madeleine Arthur. Unfortunately, the only way the haunting will stop is if this realtor makes amends with her ex.
It has 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, 7.1 out of 10 on IMDb, and 3.0 out of 5 on Letterboxd as of writing, making it the number two pick.
1. Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding
It was immediately clear that "Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding" would take the number one spot, as it achieved an impressive feat: currently holding a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, as well as 7.1 out of 10 on IMDb. As of writing, the majority of audience reviews on Letterboxd are 3 out of 5 stars, with 5 out of 5 stars being the second most-common rating. So, what earned this 2026 movie some perfect scores? Tamera Mowry-Housley, Risteard Cooper, and Marco Grazzini lead this installment of the "Haunted Harmony Mysteries" series, which finds the beloved characters at a wedding that turns into a murder investigation.
Mystery, excitement, and plenty of fall vibes landed this flick in first place.
