Why Khloe Kardashian's Response To Tristan's Instagram Post Has The Internet Upset

It's been a long, difficult road for Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson. The unlucky-in-love reality star seemed to have finally found the right man, only to fall pregnant like she'd seemingly always wanted and, right when all her dreams seemed to be coming true, Kardashian was sent crashing back to earth when news broke that the NBA star had cheated on her several times over (one of which was with family friend Jordyn Woods).

Over the most recent season of Keeping up with the Kardashians, the Good American founder slowly began to let her baby's father back in as COVID-19 took hold, and he provided some much-needed support with their daughter, True. However, there are certain fans who will never accept them as a couple, and now they're taking issue with what seems, ostensibly, to have been a nice moment between the pair.

Khloe Kardashian's response was deemed inappropriate in certain quarters

The drama started when Thompson posted a shot of his other child, son Prince, whom he shares with ex Jordan Craig, in celebration of the little one's fourth birthday. "Happy birthday Princey!!!" the proud papa wrote, alongside several pics of them having fun together. Thompson gushed, "I'm soo lucky to have you as a son papa. Your heart and soul is pure gold. Your sister is soo lucky to have a big brother like you to watch and protect her. Daddy Loves you baby boy." Kardashian then posted an innocuous-looking string of heart emojis in response.

Close to 200 replies (at the time of writing) followed, including one which read, "Girl bye don't put [a heart emoji] under someone's son," while another argued, "Let him b with his son without u." Thankfully, the KUWTK star's fans rallied around to defend her, with one arguing that posting hearts was completely reasonable while another encouraged others not to judge, noting, "The child is family to her now." The couple rekindled their romance in August and have since committed to living together in Boston and L.A. since Thompson's recent signing with the Boston Celtics, per Us Weekly.
