Regé-Jean Page Responds To Rumors He's Dating This Costar
Netflix's Bridgerton is a must-watch for fans of romances and period dramas. It has quickly become a hit with viewers, becoming popular not just for its stunning costumes and gorgeous soundtrack but also because of the off-the-charts chemistry between its stars, Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor, who play the Duke of Hastings and Daphne Bridgerton.
The love affair between Daphne and the duke is so swoon worthy and believable that many fans have been left wondering if it's all really an act. Costars have been known to fall for each other before, after all. Could there be something going on between Page and Dynevor?
Alas, Page shot down the rumors that he and Dynevor are together in an interview with Access. "I think everything you need to know is on camera," he said. "That's why we presented it so beautifully for you. All the sparks that flew off of the beautiful scripts that we were handed, and so I think that the sparky scripted material are more than enough."

But what about all those steamy scenes between Daphne and the duke? Dynevor previously told Grazia that they were orchestrated by an intimacy coordinator. "My first-ever scene was in episode six, where Simon is going down on Daphne,' she said. "And it was so great, because it felt safe and fun: you choreograph it like a stunt, or a dance. It's crazy to me that that hasn't been there in the past. I've done sex scenes before that I can't believe I did: it was only five or six years ago, but it would not be allowed now."
It looks like the spark between Dynevor and Page really is just TV magic. We may not see them together in real life, but here's hoping that we get to see more of their on-screen romance when Bridgerton (hopefully) returns for a second season.
