One of the couples followed on the new Netflix reality series is none other than Dr. Gabriel Chiu and his wife, Christine.
If you're not familiar with the couple, allow us to catch you up. Dr. Chiu is the founder of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery and Anti-Aging Institute of Regenerative Medicine (via Haute Living). The Chius make good money and don't mind spending it
The big Chinese New Year celebration that takes place in Bling Empire is thrown by the Chius. When asked how much the event cost in an interview with Town & Country, Christine Chiu coyly replied, "It costs more than the average home in the U.S., but less than a very rare Bugatti."
To throw a party like that, you've got to have a serious financial safety net. Now, we're learning just how much Dr. Chiu is worth. Celebrity Net Worth reports that Gabriel Chiu's extensive medical background has netted him a cool $50 million. The site even reveals that the couple seems to have flipped the home they bought from Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons in 2014. After buying the digs for $4.55 million, they accepted an offer from Zoe Saldana for $8.7 million.
Whether or not the reality TV thing works for them, it seems like the Chius are set for life. That doesn't mean we aren't anxiously awaiting the announcement of a second season of Bling Empire!
