These Hidden Webisodes Will Make Schitt's Creek Fans Rejoice
Schitt's Creek said its final goodbye in April of 2020 when it aired its series finale after six seasons. The show, which was on Pop TV and eventually picked up by Netflix, follows the Roses, a wealthy family who loses everything and is forced to move to a small town they once bought as a joke (via Variety). Created by father-and-son-duo Eugene and Dan Levy, fans quickly fell in love with the quirky family, and loved to watch them rise up from struggles and find a true home in their new odd town.
After season 4 wrapped, the show was renewed for two more seasons, but Dan Levy and his team knew that would be the end. "I at no point wanted to compromise on quality or storytelling," Levy told Variety. "It just didn't feel like it was worth the risk to take it any further." And while Schitt's Creek may technically be over, fans will be excited to learn that there's still more to enjoy from the actors and creators of the show.
Schitt's Creek created webisodes for more to enjoy
Alongside the series, Schitt's Creek also created a YouTube channel, filled with tons of bonus content to keep fans going during, and long after the show ended. Titled Inside Schitt's Creek, these short webisodes are about one to two minutes long and feature the actors in character. According to Elite Daily, the clips were first uploaded to CBC in 2015 to accompany the first season of the show, but were eventually all uploaded to YouTube, where they continued for three more seasons. The episodes correspond to the main series' first four seasons, but fans who have already cycled through the show can watch them anytime and in any order.
Inside Schitt's Creek features four full seasons with a total of 52 webisodes. You can find everything from Alexis giving breakup advice and David and Alexis reading nasty comments on their social media sites to Twyla giving a tour of Café Tropical and Bob showing you inside his garage.
