Kardashian has been quiet about the divorce. However, her mother, Kris Jenner, did speak out about the situation. "The good thing about our family is that we are there for each other and supportive and we love each other very, very much — so all I want is for those two kids to be happy. And I want the kids to be happy. That's the goal. I think we all want that for our families, just to be able to have ... the love and appreciation of one another and just that everyone's okay," Jenner stated during an appearance on The Kyle & Jackie O Show in March (via People). However, Kardashian now has a reason to celebrate amid all of the drama.

Kim Kardashian hits a huge milestone

Kim Kardashian may be mourning the end of her marriage to Kanye West, but she's got a big reason to smile. According to Us Weekly, Forbes claims that the reality star has officially hit billionaire status just like her younger sister, Kylie Jenner. Kardashian has been one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood for years. However, it wasn't her TV career that pushed her into the elite billionaire club, it was her business ventures. Page Six reports that Kardashian currently has two companies, KKW Beauty, which produces makeup products and was started in 2017, and Skims, a line of lingerie and shapewear established in 2019. Her status was said to have changed back in October 2020, when her net worth increased from $780 million to $1 billion.

This means that Kardashian and West's children now have two billionaire parents. West was given billionaire status in April 2020. His Yeezy clothing line and shoe brand is now estimated to be worth between $3.2 billion and $4.7 billion, per Bloomberg. In March 2021, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that West's net worth was around $6.6 billion, making him the richest Black person in America. It appears that Kardahsian and West will both be financially set once their divorce is finalized.
