Here's How Much Ryan Hurd Is Actually Worth

In 2017, American country music star Ryan Hurd signed with Sony Music Nashville to release his self-titled debut album, (via All Music).

Despite being a country newcomer, Sony Music Nashville's chairman and CEO Randy Goodman had faith that he'd be the company's next rising star. "I'm convinced Ryan Hurd will be one of our new artist breakouts in 2017," Goodman told Country Music Rocks. "He delivers on every level from his innovative songwriting to his dynamic live show." Luckily for Goodman, Hurd didn't disappoint.

In addition to landing a spot on (more than one) "Ones to Watch" lists in 2017, the Kalamazoo, Michigan native racked in more than two million streams for his single "We Do Us" — the first of his songs to release on Spotify (via Carolina Country Music Fest). Following the release of his debut album, Hurd's career continued to grow, along with his bankroll. But just how many dollar bills has the rising star pulled in?

Ryan isn't just an artist, he's a talented songwriter

According to Glamour Biz, Ryan Hurd has a net worth of $1 million and an annual salary of $150 thousand, as of April 2021.

Before Hurd was making headlines as an artist, he was known for his songwriting. According to Billboard, Hurd co-wrote a number of hits, including Tim McGraw's "Last Turn Home," Blake Shelton's "Lonely Tonight," and Lady A's "What If I Never Get Over You."

In an interview with The Shotgun Seat, Hurd explained, "I've always just written and let everything kind of fall where it is." Adding, "I love poetry and I love Nashville and I just show up every day and try to do something that I kind of haven't or just that I like. A lot of times artists want to cut the next thing, they don't want to cut what they've already done, so I just try to do my next thing. Whether that's something for me or for somebody else, that's fine."

Hurd is set to perform on the main stage at the 56th iteration of the Academy of Country Music Awards. According to People, Hurd will be performing "Chasing After You" with his wife Maren Morris - who's received six ACM nominations! The ACMs will air live on April 18, 2021, from 8 to 11 p.m. EST on CBS and Paramount+.
