Inside Carrie Ann Inaba's Love Life

"The Talk" host Carrie Ann Inaba has been delighting the entertainment world for decades. Starting with her dance performances on "In Living Color" between 1990 to 1992, Inaba went into performing with many big name celebrities including Madonna and Ricky Martin (per IMDb). Then, in 2005, Inaba became one of the three judges on the "Dancing With The Stars" panel, becoming a staple on the show throughout its 29 seasons. The Hawaiian-native later joined CBS' "The Talk" as permanent co-host in 2019.

While Inaba has been on our screens for a long time, she is now taking a break from the cameras to focus on her health. "I know you guys understand, health is the most important thing," Inaba said in an Instagram video announcing her leave of absence from the talk show. The dancer and choreographer has been diagnosed with several autoimmune illnesses and contracted COVID-19 in December 2020 (via Us Magazine). Inaba thanked everyone who has been supportive of her health journey along with an Instagram photo of her with her current beau Fabien Viteri. The couple made their relationship official back in September 2020 and since then, they have been making memories and spending major holidays together. But who else has the TV personality been linked to in the past?

Carrie Ann Inaba ended two engagements

Before connecting with Fabian Viteri, Carrie Ann Inaba had a couple of public relationships, including two engagements. Her first public relationship was back in 2006 with choreographer Artem Chigvintsev. After meeting in the set of "So You Think You Can Dance," the couple dated for three years and seemed to break up on good terms, per Us Magazine

Inaba then turned to dating site eHarmony and met accountant Jesse Sloan. He proposed at "Live! With Regis and Kelly" in 2011 after two years of dating. "You're an inspiration. You're everything to me. Will you marry me?" Sloan asked on the show (via the New York Daily News). However, a year after the proposal, the couple called off their engagement and ended on good terms, per Parade.

Inaba got engaged for a second time in 2016, with actor Robb Derringer, after he proposed at the same beach where they had their first date. However, the couple also called it quits nine months after getting engaged, according to People.

Now, at age 52, the TV host met her current boyfriend while walking her dogs — and feels good about this new relationship. "He's older than I am, and he's a wonderful human being. And now, I understand how a relationship can work. He's been so supportive and a mature adult 'cause maybe sometimes I'm not so that's working really well," Inaba said on an episode of "The Talk." We wish this couple the best!
