Inside Julie Chrisley's Relationship With Her Son Chase
The Chrisley family has faced their fair share of family feuds in the years since their reality show "Chrisley Knows Best" began airing on USA, but when it comes to Julie Chrisley's relationship with her oldest child, son Chase Chrisley, they appear to be as thick as thieves.
Not only was their mother-son bond as evident as ever on the latest season of their family's reality show (Season 8, which concluded in March), it was also evident on social media in January, when Chase shared a heartfelt tribute to his mother on his Instagram page in honor of her birthday. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the most beautiful woman inside and out that I have the pleasure of calling my mama!! Have an amazing day!! I love you!!" he wrote in his sweet post.
Chase also honored his mom on Mother's Day 2020, calling her the "most amazing woman" he knows and telling her he has his heart "forever." He also added, "Thank you for being an amazing mama! You have my heart forever!" (via Instagram)
Julie Chrisley's sons have her heart
Julie Chrisley has also honored her son, Chase, on Instagram on numerous occasions. In one particular post from last year, Julie shared a throwback photo of herself with her kids and expressed how quickly time had passed. "Where has the time gone? The days can seem so long but the years fly by! Love these two with all my heart!" she wrote. Months prior, on National Son Day, Julie wrote a similar statement to Chase and her other son, Grayson, on Instagram, telling her fans and followers, "These two have my heart!"
And in true protective mom fashion, it's not surprising that Julie isn't ready for Chase to settle down with a wife just yet. Back in January, per Life & Style, she hoped he'd wait a while longer before proposing to his girlfriend, Emmy Medders. While she said Chase is "doing really good," she also noted that he should take "a little more time" before popping the question.
Looking back at the time she's spent as Chase's mother in a post shared on Instagram last summer, Julie noted that the day she welcomed Chase as her first child was "one of the happiest days of my life!" In addition to Chase and Grayson, Julie also shares daughter Savannah with husband Todd Chrisley.
