Juice WRLD's Net Worth At The Time Of His Death May Surprise You

As clumsy and naïve high schoolers, many of us didn't have any clue what direction we wanted our lives to take. However, by the time Jarad Anthony Higgins, known primarily by his stage name Juice WRLD, reached his teen years, he'd already launched himself into stardom.

According to GQ, Juice found massive success when he began releasing music to SoundCloud as a teen. Something stood out to so many in his age group (and even older) when it came to his "tender-voiced combination of melodic hip-hop, emo, and pop-punk" as well as the emotional depths his vulnerable lyrics reached, many of which dealt with topics relating to mental health and addiction.

Shortly after the rapper's jet touched down in Chicago in the early hours of December 8, 2019, federal authorities swarmed the aircraft after receiving a tip that illicit substances were aboard. As officers conducted their search, the rapper was transported to a nearby hospital after experiencing a seizure and was tragically pronounced dead on route.

The "Lucid Dreams" artist's untimely death sent shockwaves throughout the music industry. "It wasn't supposed to happen like this," Cole Bennett, who directed the artist's biggest music videos, told GQ. "I feel like he was just getting to new levels of his creativity." Suffice to say, Juice WRLD had just hit his stride in the competitive world of hip-hop at the time of his death. Some fans may be wondering if the dollars in Juice WRLD's bank account reflected his newfangled celebrity status?

Juice WRLD's net worth mirrored the amount of his first record deal

According to Republic World, Juice WRLD's income came from music platforms, collaborations, and concerts. After gaining ample recognition on SoundCloud, the young rapper made his first publicly known financial deal in 2018 when he signed with the Santa Monica-based label Interscope Records for a whopping $3 million. By the time of his death, the much-loved artist had racked up a net worth that was close to the same amount. However, Celebrity Net Worth reports an amount closer to $4 million.

Shortly after his death, Juice's label made a public statement per XXL, which read, "Juice made a profound impact on the world in such a short period of time. He was a gentle soul, whose creativity knew no bounds, an exceptional human being and artist who loved and cared for his fans above everything else. To lose someone so kind and so close to our hearts is devastating. Our thoughts are with Juice's family and friends, everyone at his label Grade A, and his millions of fans around the world."
