Claire is a Colorado-based writer and editorial manager who explores the intersections of spirituality, sexuality, and pop culture. Her work has appeared in several books as well as Patheos, WebMD, the award-winning FULLER magazine, and various other publications both online and in print. As a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and mental health, she approaches all facets of her profession ​​— including shepherding The List’s talented team of freelancers — with empathy at the forefront. In her spare time, you’ll either find her playing with her niece and nephew or binging mumblecore with a pale ale in hand.


Claire earned her bachelor's in English with an emphasis in Creative Nonfiction at the liberal arts school Seattle Pacific University, where she graduated cum laude. Later, she earned her master's in Theology, Culture, and the Arts from Fuller Theological Seminary. She also holds a certificate in Search Engine Optimization from the eMarketing Institute.
