Sharon Stone Has Something To Say About Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez

Once upon a time, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were one of the most powerful couples in show business. However, back in 2004, the pair sadly called it quits just days after postponing their wedding (via Independent). Following their highly publicized break up, the exes went on to remarry and their "Bennifer" days appeared to be well and truly behind them.

However, as People reported, Affleck and Lopez have been spotted together on multiple occasions in May 2021, sparking rumors of a possible reunion between the former lovers.

Following an Instagram post shared by comedian Michelle Collins on May 10, 2021, Hollywood icon Sharon Stone shared her thoughts on the couple's reported reconciliation. Per Us Weekly, Collins' post included a screenshot of her tweet referencing the "Bennifer" reunion, to which Stone responded in the comments, "Yeah I mean WTF A-Rod?" The original Instagram post featured a paparazzi photo of Affleck and Lopez, with an accompanying caption that read, "J-Lo's been with him for like 2 weeks and he's hot as s*** again. I bet his phoenix back tattoo is slowly disappearing like the photo in 'Back to the Future.'"

Sharon's reply was in reference to Lopez's ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez, from whom she split after a two-year engagement in April 2021 (via Us Weekly).

Sharon Stone isn't the only celebrity to comment on the couple's reunion

As the Daily Mail reported, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were pictured jetting off for a seemingly romantic trip in early May 2021 to a ski resort in Montana, where Affleck just so happens to own a ski chalet. In the paparazzi snaps, the pair were seen driving together and were also spotted arriving back in Los Angeles following their getaway.

Speaking to People, a source revealed that the former couple "have a lot of love for each other" and "have always admired each other." Elsewhere, another insider also told to the publication, "They are friends. They have always been friends and they have seen each other through the years."

Sharon Stone isn't the only famous face to have publicly commented on the reports. During an appearance on NBC's "Today" on May 11, 2021, Affleck's longtime pal and "Good Will Hunting" co-star, Matt Damon, was asked about the pair's relationship.

"There's not enough liquor in the world for you to get me to say something about that," Damon said. "It's a fascinating story. I hope it's true. I love them both ... That would be awesome" (via Us Weekly).
