Here's The Huge Sin You Are Committing When Making Tacos

We've all been in the situation where we are stuck on what to make for dinner for ourselves or our family. It's like we've gone through everything to cook for the week, and we can't figure out how to spice things up in the kitchen. However, you can absolutely never go wrong with taco night. It doesn't have to be Tuesday to make it a taco fest of fun and spices. In fact, there are tons of different ways to make tacos to keep them fresh and exciting.

While some people enjoy the traditional, beef tacos, others like to change things up with chicken, shrimp, or even veggie fillings (via Delish). Tacos are the perfect meal to cater to anyone in your home and all of their food choices. Most of all, it's great because everyone can make it their own, by adding different toppings and sauces. There are tons of recipes and combinations of ingredients keep them interesting and keep your mouth watering for more.

But, no matter what kind of tacos you are making, there is one thing you absolutely have to do when you're cooking and prepping them. And, it turns out, most people forget to do it.

The one taco hack you're probably forgetting

One of the biggest pet peeves that everyone has when eating tacos is simply — everything falls out. No matter what kind of tacos you're making — from shrimp to chicken to beef to veggie — the more you pile into your hard taco shell, the more will fall out. The most annoying thing is having to grab a fork and continue to put the toppings back into our taco, over and over again.

The one mistake that everyone makes is forgetting one hack: putting a soft tortilla under your hard taco. Shared by users on Reddit, it's probably the best idea we've ever come across when it comes to eating tacos (via Reddit). Putting a flat tortilla on the plate underneath the taco you're eating allows the dropped taco-insides to create a new soft taco, ready to eat.

Essentially, you're making it possible to save every savory piece of taco, and also make yourself another taco to eat next. Seriously, what can get better than that?
