RHONJ's Gia Giudice Reveals The Meaning Behind Her Tattoo
It wasn't that long ago when fans first met Gia Giudice as the eldest of Teresa Giudice's four daughters on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." Now, years later and after a messy split between her mother and father, Joe Giudice, Gia is all grown up, attending college at Rutgers University and engaging in the normal activities of a young woman of her age. While Gia is no wild child and appears to be doing quite well as she studies law (via Bravo), she did recently get the attention of her many fans and followers on social media with the debut of a new tattoo.
According to a report shared by Heavy, Gia showed off her ink during a visit to the Bahamas, where her father resides, and quickly revealed that the tattoo is quite meaningful to her. "One year without my favorite person on this planet ... I cherish you every single day, I miss you more than you know best friend. I love you endlessly my beautiful angel. That smile brings me joy everyday, I miss it so much," Gia wrote in the caption of her post, giving a nod to her grandfather, Giacinto Gorga, who died on April 3, 2020 after numerous hospitalizations and a bout with pneumonia.
Teresa Giudice has a matching tattoo
In a photo shared after her heartfelt Instagram post, Gia was seen standing to the side and showing off a small dove tattoo and a message that read "Sempre Insieme" on her rib cage under her arm. As Heavy revealed, the message, which translates from Italian as "Always Together," is believed to reference both of Gia's grandparents, including her grandmother, Antonia Gorga, who died suddenly in 2017 after a battle with pneumonia.
According to another report, shared by Bravo, Teresa Giudice – currently in production on her 12th season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" — has the same tattoo as Gia and got hers done back in March. Around the same time, Teresa shared a tribute post to her mother and included the hashtag, #SempreInsieme. "I miss you so much Mommy not a day goes by that I do not think of you," she wrote.
After Gia posted a video of Teresa getting the tattoo and received a lot of positive feedback from her online audience in regard to the matching ink, her mother weighed in with an "I [love] U" post of her own.
