It has been the summer of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. The couple shocked fans when they rekindled their romance earlier this year nearly 20 years after calling it quits the first time around. Since reuniting, the couple known as "Bennifer" hasn't been shy about flaunting their romance. The pair have been seen canoodling everywhere from Miami to the Hamptons (via E!). Last month, sources told ET that the pair's relationship is very serious and that they couldn't be happier together.
"They have insane, on another level, chemistry. They are both super passionate and are head over heels with each other, just like they once were," an insider explained. "This time around, however, they both really feel like this is it. Everything feels 100 percent natural with them. Once they rekindled, it was like no time had passed," the source added. Lopez's ex-husband Marc Anthony and Affleck's former wife, Jennifer Garner, have also reportedly been supportive of the couple's relationship. "Jen Garner and Marc Anthony are continuing to be supportive and there doesn't seem to be any ill will across the board. They all just want what's best for each other and their families."
Lopez and Affleck's children are reportedly on board as well. "Their kids just want to see their parents happy and they are what is most important to both of them. J.Lo's kids are so glad to see their mom so in love." However, the pair may be facing their first big test as a newly reunited couple.
Ben and Jen are set to part ways this fall
People Magazine reports that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been spending a ton of time together this summer. However, with the fall rapidly approaching the couple will go their separate ways to fulfill work obligations. "They are spending as much time together as possible before they have separate work projects in the fall," a source told the outlet. "Ben will be filming in Texas and Jennifer in Canada." However, for now, they're enjoying all the time they do have together as the summer begins to wind down.
"They are back in L.A. now after the most special trip to Europe," the insider dished. "They are hanging out with their kids and friends. They are having an amazing summer." One friend that the couple has been spotted spending time with is Affleck's longtime pal, actor Matt Damon. The trio was seen together near Paradise Cove in Malibu over the weekend. Lopez and Affleck held hands while Damon walked alongside the newly reunited pair. It seems that Damon is thrilled to see "Bennifer" back together. Last month, the "Saving Private Ryan" star told Extra that he's "so happy" for Ben. "He's the best. He deserves every happiness in the world. I'm glad for both of them," Damon stated.
Although it seems that Lopez and Affleck will soon be parting ways, fans will be keeping an eye on the couple as they look to sneak in some time together amid their busy work schedules this fall.
