We Think We Know Who Will Be Making History As JoJo Siwa's Dancing With The Stars Partner

JoJo Siwa has taken center stage in the entertainment industry for years now. From "Dance Moms" to creating her own dance, music, and YouTube channel empire, Siwa has been quite busy. And then there's her coming out, which was a huge moment both for her and for the queer community. Siwa's coming out was met with love from fans around the world, as well as from many celebrities who, like us, have witnessed the star grow up on television.

Now, Siwa is breaking records on television again, but this time on "Dancing with the Stars." The 18-year-old performer will be the series' first dancer in its 30 season history to perform on its stage with a partner of the same gender (via Deadline). While Siwa is in a real life relationship with girlfriend Kylie Prew, Prew will not be her girlfriend's partner on the "Dancing With the Stars" stage. Instead, the Nickelodeon star will be paired with a professional dancer and television personality.

JoJo Siwa's dance partner isn't new to Dancing with the Stars

Just who will be joining JoJo Siwa in making "Dancing With the Stars" history during Season 30? According to Cosmopolitan, it's likely to be none other than professional dancer Jenna Johnson! Competing as the series' first same-sex pairing, Siwa and Johnson are both in good hands. Siwa has a dance background, and Johnson has been on six seasons of "Dancing with the Stars," even snatching the famed mirrorball trophy in Season 26.

Johnson is just one of many people supporting Siwa as she begins publicly living her most authentic life. Tyra Banks has commented on Siwa's same-sex partnership, saying, "It's going to change lives. It's going to make a lot of noise and the noise that needs to be made," (via New York Daily News). Moreover, Andrew Llinares, an executive producer for the series, said, "JoJo is going to be paired with a female pro dancer, who will be revealed on the premiere. We are so, so excited that JoJo, you're doing this, and for everyone to experience it."

As for Johnson, you likely know her from "Dancing With the Stars," but you may also know her from one of her many talk show appearances. The personality has appeared on "Entertainment Tonight," "Good Morning America," "Live with Kelly and Ryan," and "Celebrity Page" multiple times each (via IMDb).
