Why Kaley Cuoco Isn't Ready To Date Again After Her Divorce

Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook announced their plans to divorce earlier this month. The couple, who were married for three years, shared a joint statement about the end of their marriage, confessing that the split was mutual (via ET). "Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions," the statement reads. "We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary."

The couple has a prenup and neither has asked to seek any spousal support. However, in his divorce filing, Cook did ask to be given back some "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects." He also asked that he keep any "earnings and accumulations" that he made before and during his marriage to the "Big Bang Theory" star.

While neither Cuoco nor Cook has publicly revealed why they split, sources tell E! Online that the pair didn't see eye-to-eye about their future plans. "She wanted something different and felt like they weren't on the same page for the future," the insider said. "She wanted to go in a different direction and have different types of experiences. It became clear it wasn't going to work with him."

Meanwhile, Cuoco is said to be unwilling to date so soon after her split.

Kaley Cuoco is focused on her career following her split with Karl Cook

Us Weekly reports that Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook's marriage may be over, but that doesn't mean she's ready to move on just yet. "The Flight Attendant" actress is reportedly not thinking about dating now that she's soon to be divorced for a second time. "She's been in really great spirits lately," a source told the outlet. "She certainly doesn't come off as someone who just separated from her husband." The insider went on to reveal that there are "countless guys who would love to date" Cuoco, but she's implying laughing off the prospects at the moment. "Now's not the time," the source continued. "She really wants to take this time to focus on herself and focus on her upcoming roles. She remains positive and optimistic about the future."

Meanwhile, there have been rumors that Cuoco has been getting close to her "Meet Cute" co-star, Pete Davidson (via E! Online). However, insiders claim that the pair are currently just friends. "She is close friends with Pete. She thinks he is hysterical and very sweet. They've gotten to know each other well. She has a lot of fun with him and they enjoy hanging out."

While it seems that Cuoco's not on the market for a new romance just yet, fans will definitely be interested to see who the actress finally does move on with whenever she's ready to try her hand at love again.
