Inside The Heather McDonald Chrissy Teigen Feud

Another day, another celebrity feud. This time, comedian and "Juicy Scoop" podcast host, Heather McDonald, and former "Sports Illustrated" supermodel Chrissy Teigen got into it on Instagram, and it all started with a snide comment from McDonald on one of Teigen's recent posts, in which Teigen — who appears to be in full makeup and styled in a waist-cinching trench coat — deemed as "unflattering" in an attempt to downplay her image, calling herself a "mess" in the pic.

"I really think you guys are too conditioned to seeing perfect photos all day because so many of my comments on any given photo are 'why would she post this' or 'i love you girl but this is not flattering', to which I say, who cares??" part of her lengthy caption on Instagram reads. While many of Teigen's followers issued words of encouragement toward the "Cravings" cookbook author and applauded her for being humble and relatable, McDonald had other words for the "Chrissy's Court" star.

"These humble brags of 'this is an unfiltered picture so say whatever mean thing you want so people will actually write me nice things since I still actually look great' is so 3 years ago, Chrissy," McDonald wrote in response (via Page Six). The former "Chelsea Lately" star even reposted a screenshot of her comment to her own Instagram page, calling Teigen a "hypocrite" in the caption and writing that she "can't be the only one that can see through this BS."

Heather McDonald's comments did not sit well with Chrissy Teigen

Not one to back down from a social media fight, Chrissy Teigen seemingly hit back at Heather McDonald by posting a strongly worded message to her Instagram Story. "I didn't sleep at all last night, as [John] can attest. I was up sick, sobbing, as my phone popped up the memory of being in the hospital exactly 1 year ago, losing our baby," Teigen wrote (via Page Six), adding, "So maybe I'm a little sensitive today but f*** off."

The same day, Teigen posted a heartbreaking photo of her and husband John Legend in the hospital from one year ago, commemorating the loss of their third child, Jack, who died after Teigen experienced pregnancy complications when she was around five months into her pregnancy. In the caption, Teigen described the hardships and emotional roller coaster of a year she's had since the family's loss, writing in part, "They told me it would get easier, but yeah, that hasn't started yet."

Heather McDonald fired back at Chrissy Teigen in another Instagram comment

Heather McDonald is seemingly refusing to budge on her stance about Chrissy Teigen's self-proclaimed "mess" of a look she posted on Instagram, as she wrote in a response on the social media platform. "I do not hate anyone," the "Juicy Scoop" host stated (via Page Six). "When Chrissy posted the flattering photo of herself in glam and a nipped in waist, claiming it was in fact unflattering. I merely was pointing it out that many of us now see the humble brag attempt and call BS."

McDonald went on to say that since Teigen had served as a judge on NBC's "Bring the Funny" and considers herself "a comedian," she had hoped that the former supermodel would come up with new material for her social media pages. McDonald also sarcastically suggested that Teigen, who is trying to revamp her image and online presence in the wake of her recent bullying scandal — in which she, as a grown woman, told a 16-year-old Courtney Stodden to kill themselves in direct messages on Twitter (via Buzzfeed) — should continue to point out her "flaws" to prove how "authentic" she is.

"Maybe today Chrissy can squeeze the outside of her thigh and highlight a cellulite dimple so the world can again remember how real she is," McDonald wrote. "Chrissy is just a mom/super model who actually eats and is super authentic."

Social media users are divided on the feud

While Chrissy Teigen has yet to respond to Heather McDonald's latest comments about her, social media users on all platforms — including some fellow celebs — have weighed in on the ongoing drama between the two A-listers. "She says in full glam. Congratulations for posting a pic with eyes closed. Moving the needle on feminism one pic at a time. Lol," journalist Carole Radziwill wrote on McDonald's Instagram post, clearly agreeing with the "Juicy Scoop" podcast host, while "Vanderpump Rules" star Lala Kent added, "You're a f***ing savage [heart]."

However, some Instagram users defended Teigen in the comment section of McDonald's post, with one Teigen fan telling the comedian, "Girl just say you're bitter lol. This wasn't it. Prayers for Heather attempting to be relevant," while "Real Housewives of New York" star Leah McSweeney issued her own harsh words to the former "Chelsea Lately" regular.

"Girl you are mean too lol. All you did this season was attack me on ur show and on Twitter. Meanwhile I thought we were cool!" she wrote. "So pls enough. This post is a humble brag in and of itself. You are more like Chrissie then [sic] u realize."
