Meet Ashley Olsen's Boyfriend, Louis Eisner

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen began working in the entertainment industry before they could walk. After sharing the role of Michelle Tanner on "Full House," the twins' fame continued to skyrocket and the pair made more than 30 films in the 1990s and early 2000s (via Insider).

While their younger sister Elizabeth Olsen has established herself as one of the top young actresses in Hollywood, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have made a major effort to avoid the spotlight. They rarely agree to interviews and aren't often spotted in public, per E! Online. The Olsens, who are now 35 and reside in New York City, still work together in the fashion industry.

It's no surprise that they're as private about their relationships as they are about pretty much everything else in their personal lives. When Mary-Kate married Olivier Sarkozy in 2015, the reception was held at a private residence with about 50 guests in attendance, all of whom were required to turn in their cell phones prior to entering, as reported by The New York Post.

Mary-Kate and Sarkozy divorced last year, but Ashley remains in a long-term relationship. Her boyfriend, Louis Eisner, isn't a household name like his other half, but here's what we know about him.

Ashley Olsen is dating an artist named Louis Eisner

As reported by Us Weekly, Ashley Olsen and Louis Eisner were first romantically linked back in 2017. It's unclear exactly how they met, but the outlet notes that they share mutual friends from high school. Eisner is described as someone who "doesn't crave the spotlight," which makes him a great match for the actress-turned-fashion designer.

Us Weekly notes that Eisner, who has one brother, grew up in Santa Monica, California. Although Mary-Kate and Ashley now call New York City home, they were raised in Los Angeles and graduated from Campbell Hall Episcopal School in North Hollywood rather than being tutored on set like many child actors (via Elle).

Eisner relocated from Los Angeles to New York City in 2006, shortly after Ashley made the same cross-country move. Per Us Weekly, he studied art history at Columbia University and interned at Sotheby's.

Neither of the twins has an Instagram account (or any other social media for that matter), but Eisner is on Instagram and he mainly uses his page to promote his artwork, which includes abstract paintings and small drawings. It's unknown exactly how lucrative Eisner's art career is, but Artnet.com reports that he sold at least several pieces of art at auction in 2020 and 2021.
