Why Don Jr. And Eric Trump's Families Are Being Accused Of Bad Manners

After the January 6, 2021 insurrection on the United States Capitol, former White House aide and press secretary Stephanie Grisham resigned. Prior to handing in her resignation, Grisham had been an active part of former president Donald Trump's campaign and his eventual move into the White House. From June 2019 through April 2020, Grisham became infamous for never actually holding a public press briefing as the White House press secretary, according to CNN. Then, as Melania Trump's chief of staff until her resignation in January 2021, Grisham learned quite a bit about the mysterious first lady — along with the rest of the family. On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, Grisham revealed many secrets behind the inner workings of the Trump family and the political endeavors in her brand new tell-all memoir, "I'll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw in the Trump White House," per AP News.

Much of Grisham's new book is filled with details about Melania and her acts as first lady. In fact, Grisham was partially inspired to hand in her official notice after Melania appeared to be more interested in taking pictures of her rug than drafting a message on social media that condemned the violence unfolding during the January 6 insurrection. Grisham also revealed several interesting details about Donald's children, including the fact that Melania often called Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, the "interns" due to their constant meddling. It seems as though Melania also harbored a bit of jealousy toward Ivanka, calling her "princess" behind the scenes, according to AP News. But where do Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump fall in line? Grisham really did reveal all in her book.

Don Jr. and Eric Trump reportedly had bad manners at the White House Easter Egg Roll

Stephanie Grisham revealed a good deal of information in her new book, and she also wrote of the supposed rudeness of Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. Back in 2017, the Easter Egg Roll was the first large social event hosted by the Trump White House and the expectations were quite high. "That was the 'mean girls' part of Washington, DC: pundits and society types were just waiting to see if Melania Trump and her skeleton crew could handle something like this, and it felt as though they were not-so-secretly hoping for a flop," Grisham wrote in her book, according to Business Insider. Grisham revealed that Melania handled the pressure well, organizing the event to host a smaller crowd than normal in order to ensure that the guests wouldn't be waiting in line for a long time in order to meet the president.

However, it appears as though Melania did not account for the alleged rudeness of Don Jr. and Eric, who actually ended up cutting ahead of the other families in attendance to give their own children a photo opportunity with their grandfather before the others in the line. "Some of the children and their parents had stood in long lines for an hour or longer to get a spot with the president, and they were relegated to the background," Grisham wrote in her book, per Business Insider. "I would go on to develop positive relationships with most of the Trump children, but that was a generally obnoxious and entitled display."
