Lisa Vanderpump Says This Is The Only Way She Would Return To RHOBH

Ever since her explosive departure from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Lisa Vanderpump has remained within the scope of the show by consistently commenting from the sidelines. Whether shading her cast mates or bashing current seasons, Vanderpump has hardly held her tongue when it comes to her disdain for where the show is heading.

Vanderpump left a lot unsaid due to the dramatic nature of her exit. Season 9 saw the ladies of the show joining forces to confront Vanderpump, including her closest friends of the show Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, over the scandal now known as "Puppygate." To cut a long story short, Vanderpump was accused of setting up her friends in an attempt to make them look bad while keeping her own hands clean (via E! News). Boiling over to the explosive "Goodbye Kyle" heard across the world, Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, were confronted by now-ex-friend Richards in their home. Shortly after, Vanderpump chose to leave the show, and she didn't even attend the reunion (via People). It was this abrupt exit, without a chance to fully confront the accusations or unpack them, that left people consistently wondering if Vanderpump will ever return to the show, and she's finally given us an answer, along with some demands.

Lisa Vanderpump would consider returning to the show, but she has conditions

Through countless interactions with the press, or even simply via Twitter, Lisa Vanderpump has made very clear her feelings about the current cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." She even weighed in on the ongoing 2021 storyline regarding Erika Jayne's divorce and her husband's lawsuit by accusing ex-friend Kyle Richards of spreading rumors to help fuel the fire (via the Daily Mail). Her consistent involvement has left people questioning whether she would ever decide to rejoin the cast, and she has finally revealed that she would actually be willing to, but not before changes are made. Vanderpump told Entertainment Tonight in early October 2021 that she would consider rejoining, but only if the show "cleaned house."

Expressing admiration for current housewives Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais, Vanderpump told Entertainment Tonight that she would consider re-joining the show if the cast only involved herself and the two aforementioned ladies. With her previous cast-mates Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna, Teddi Mellencamp, and Dorit Kemsley remaining on the show, Vanderpump claimed her return would be impossible. However, she teased, "If you could just get rid of the other five, then I think yeah, there's a possibility." Only time will tell if Bravo producers will take her vision for the show on board.
